  1. Middlesbrough defo, come on boro!!
  2. Just a word of warning to anyone who is fancying getting a mincer. I just bought one on fleabay, one of the cheap silver looking ones. What a pile of crap. It came with a leg broke and was the biggest pile of chinese crap ive seen. It was even sprayed with silver paint to try to look good!! Wasted £20 now.

    UFC 87

What did we all think to 87? i thought it was great, all good fights every one. Gsp v Fitch was a great fight, fitch was sssooooo strong, kept coming back when gsp nearly had him 3 or 4 times. Lesnar was impressive too! He is a sheer powerhouse, and pummeled herring big time. It needs a submission expert to beat him imo. Mai impressed me, as did kongo, but his oppo was a potato.
  4. I just paid my mortgage off 3 month ago. I was paying £250 extra on top of what i should have been paying for ages, but its been worth it. Im only 36 so im laughing now.
  5. I havent a clue what this is, anyone shed some light? it looks like its got a nasty sting. I put a pound coin next to it to get a picture of its size.
  6. Ive got quite a few .410 carts spare, not sure of the amount to be honest, but if someone lives close it will be worth getting them. Im just writing this quick as im pushed for time. I think the majority are subsonic, ideal for the hushpowers. pm me for more details and i will try to fill you in tomorrow on what ive got. Im open to offers or swap for w.h.y.
  7. Well done sean. Its good to see common sense prevail. Very unfair to typecast everyone who has suffered with any form of depression as unfit to own a firearm.
  8. I suppose the catty would drop rabbits if you know your stuff, me , i couldnt hit a barn door if i was sat on the handle with one! Get yourself an air-rifle and join in the fun! no excuse for missing rabbits then, and im on a quest to find the easiest recipes for rabbits so there is no excuse in not eating them! trappa
  9. I can only speak from experience................avoid the howa!
  10. Im using eley subs in my cz and the moderator is a "nameless" one but its ssooooooooo quite, barely any noise at all. Im pretty shocked your getting agro from stables, i could fire my rimmy right next to livestock (horses included) with no problems at all- and i often do! BUT......I bought a jet z mod for my .223 and its GREAT! really, really impressive. Might be worth giving it a dose of looking at mate.
  11. Buzzard. You can tell straight away its not a kite by the tail.
  12. Great post blue coyote.
  13. Mr L, i will certainly think about it. I think i asked for 300/200 but im not sure, but they knocked me back to 100/150. Its only for foxes mind, so i cant really see me needing a great deal of amma, and the local plod will probably think the same. Back to the original thread, i thought what he was asking was excessive, but maybe not after all. The best thing he can do is ask for a maximum number and let the old bill juggle the numbers. cheers trappa
  14. It sounds excessive to me, but a lot of forces half what you ask for anyway so if you ask for more than you need then fair enough. For the record, i can have 150 but buy 100 .223 bullets.
  15. I like him, and im pretty racist (apparently) to be honest. But he seems a nice bloke to me. He must be mad though. The yanks shoot their white presidents willy nilly, but a black one is something else. so if he makes it to the white house im putting a tenner on him to get shot within the year !!
  16. Ok, latest is i went out tonight and it started again. I had put through a dozen or so shots and had the sights about set at 100yd thinking everything was fine when one got stuck. I tapped it out and put a few more through when another decided to stay put up the chamber. Im going to go to my local rfd tomorrow and buy some different flavour bullets than hornady-this should be the deciding factor in whether the brass is too soft on hornady ammo for my gun , or its a "bigger" problem. Im as sick as a robbers dog on christmas eve at the moment!!
  17. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...showtopic=57604 This was /is the problem. Any info whatsoever on soft brass is welcome. Its a £20 round trip fuelwise and so far ive been there and back 3 times. If i still have a problem i can take the ammo back and swap ammo for another brand which is fair enough i suppose but it still means im £20 down again, plus if it doesnt work i will be another £20 down going to get the gun to be taken back to be sent to howa.
  18. cheers boys, i will try it again and see..........watch this space!
  19. I got my .223 back today. The shop i bought it from took it to bits and reckon there was debris in the chamber at the side which they think was causing the shells to stick in the chamber. i can only take what they say at face value as they are the experts so i will try again tonight to set the sights in. One thing they did say was im using hornady ammo and they say its brass could be too soft for my gun. Anyone had any experience , specifically problems, with hornady brass being too soft? They were pretty nice about the whole thing and offered to swap the hundred i bought for another brand i
  20. Good lad kidda! Theres an old wives tale that if you kill a magpie you save a thousand songbirds! A great cause, get some photos up!
  21. Rabbiter, your a gentleman. I would have the mincer in a heartbeat but im not technically minded so i doubt i could repair it. I hadnt thought about the body chamber size, thanks for that. All the best, trappa
  22. Im looking to buy a meat mincer in the next 2 days. I missed rabbiteers bargain he had for sale, but what i want to know is which sized mincer is the optimum size? Will someone who has one let me know what they think of theirs. I want to make rabbit burgers primarily, but also want to grind down what i dont use into ferret food as i seem to waste quite a bit. any info taken on board, cheers.
  23. Ive got to agree with the others. At around £250-300 CZ's are cheap but are excellent value for money. To buy a copy of one to save a couple of quid isnt worth it surely. You KNOW when you buy a cz its decent quality.
