  2. Thought i would start a thread off for anyone who wants to show their harvest. Im just taking up potatoes for the first time today, and finishing the last of my spring cabbage. Im picking onions that are starting to seed or have fallen, plus im collecting a great crop of broad beans right now. Im guessing those from further south will be a good 3-4 weeks ahead of me in cleveland. Anyway, put some pics up you lot! i like to keep an eye on the opposition!

    FOR SALE

Is this road legal by any chance?
  6. I was under the impression that a quad registred as an agricultural vehicle can travel a distance of around 3 miles or so from base, is this definately correct as someone on ebay who is advertising a quad has said the rules have now changed and you can go anywhere?!? Any solid info would be greatly appreciated, or links if possible as i cant find any. cheers muchly, trappa
  7. How imperitive is it to have a 4x4 quad out on the field? would a 4x2 quad do? I am wanting it for general driving over fields so i wont be driving in really rough terrain, but its still driving in fields and up and down hills. Any info please?
  8. Thanks dytkos, that makes sense just wasnt sure. appreciated
  9. Basically,How easy is it to buy a farmer style quad and turn it into a road legal quad? Im not sure whether to buy one that is all ready for the road or buy one then make it legal. thanks
  10. My favourite clip. Its not a complilation of different fighters, just semtex, but i think he is the most exciting fighter at the moment and the music is amazing!
  11. A mhh would probably be ideal. They are not as sought after as females and therefore a lot cheaper. Plus at 15 it wont be as intimidating as a 3lb+ redtail sat on his arm. the mhh will also catch rabbits which im guessing he will be hunting.
  12. has a massive crush on charlotte hawkins from sky news

  13. Very funny mate! Your mates look a real good laugh. Thats an absolute cracker of a vid. Worth a view everyone!

    Gardener

i know someone who makes a good living from gardening. He does it all mind, from hedge laying and grass cutting to laying paths. In my mind he is more of a handyman but he advertises as a gardener and isnt short of a bob or two from it. If your able to put your hand to most things then give it a go, A lot of old folk need help in their gardens.
  17. Photo up. As i say, verdict is still out there. You can see that the plant on the right has started to grow vertical again which will not be great when it gets laden with fruit.
  18. Im trying them now on the garage wall. I will try to get a photo up. NOt sure yet on what they are like so wont comment until the toms have fruited.
  19. Wow. really interesting. Ive caught a squirrel with no tail but this is amazing! Im shocked it could have survived this. My guess would have to be the limbs were lost in a fenn trap but they look very neat cuts which seem to point against a fenn trap. Well done for taking photos! I doubt i would have believed it if i hadnt seen it.
  20. Thanks boys. I think the flatpack ones are coated? is that correct axholme?
  21. Anyone tried the new talpex style traps from flatpack? Im wanting to buy some talpex but not sure how the flatpack ones have faired in the field. A bit of constructive feedback before i buy would be nice as i want a good few and not sure which to buy. cheers
  22. thought hewould come on here to boast about being in ibiza while you lot are all cold!

  23. Just to add my tuppence, i think that there needs to be a massive overhaul in the public getting access to poison. Ive seen too many people using poison (anticoagulants) illegaly, and i think its shocking any landowner can get his hands on aluminium phosphide. It needs sorting. Plus too many stores are selling stuff that is no good but the public dont have a clue. It needs sorting out, regardless of whether the pest companies make money or not.
