I don't think it's sad. You've held my interest so far... Or am I a sad twat too? I don't think it's sad. You've held my interest so far... Or am I a sad twat too? Haha. Maybe we are both sad twats! I tend to spend a lot of time doing research on the local area looking for long lost footpaths and where old houses have been and now gone. My favourite farm is one that is about 100 yards away from an old church. The monks used to live in the old farmhouse and walk across to and from the church, ive found some good stuff in those fields, back then you could basically "buy" your way

If you find yourself a high quality bronze age axe head it could be worth hundreds, they are really collectable. My lithic bladelets arent worth much, maybe a few quid matey, and my votive axe head might get £50 on ebay so Im not gonna make millions. Im just a sad tw*t who loves history!

Na mate, I wish. Some of the bronze age axe heads that have been found are jaw droppingly good, but sadly they are still on my wish list. I did find a votive axe head in rather poor condition which is about the best ive done in that sector.

Cheers lads

With a metal detector? lol IMPOSSIBLE lol POSSIBLE How do you detect flint with a metal detector? That's what I was asking. Or was the axe head a coincidental find? Ah, get what your saying, i got the wrong end of the stick. Ive found 'lithic' flint bladelets/knifes when out detecting- no your correct, the detector wont pick them up but when your detecting near tumuli you dig down and happen upon them if your lucky. If the lad found a 6000 yr old axe head it could be bronze age, that started roughly 5000/6000 years ago i think so its not impossible.

Ive got bpca diploma level qualified on my website. Presumed it was ok?!??!?

Well the last time i touched a joint has to be ten years ago so not bothered personally if they legalise it or not, but i watched a video not so long back on a parkinsons sufferer who took a drop of cannabis oil stuff and the immediate results were astounding. My dad suffered from parkinsons and its a feckin horrible disease, If i thought it would have helped him i would have got him some straight away.

Counterfeit Fenn Vs A Real Fenn - Action Video
trappa replied to Tomdhu's topic in Snaring, Trapping & Pest Control
Ive bought some shite mole traps over the years, Ill be the first to admit. I bought my first traps from killgerm when i started up and paid top dollar for them. I then bought some sh*t off ebay a couple of months after i realised id need a lot more than what i had bought ( i think i bought around 50 or so that first time), the ebay ones werent actually that bad, i then bought some from a local farm shop, now these made my p*ss boil cos they broke on the FIRST FROST!!!! ye you read that right, so i took them back. Ive also bought some talpex from ebay, i thought they were real and i was getti -
Im sat here arguing with myself (not a good sign) I mean on the one hand i totally agree with you that at £21 a visit for a trade (sort of ) is a steal, but on the other hand its rare to go three visits and catch one mole on the final visit. Now and again we have all pulled out many more than we had guessed would be there, i just couldnt look someone in the eye if they only lived a couple of miles away and Id charged them say £260 when i caught 4 moles, i dont honestly think i would sleep that night. Anyway, good luck to him, it obviously suits him, and like you say, when they ring up him t

Domestics i charge a set rate for three visits, farms i charge by the hour. I know charging per mole is probably going to reap me more money but i think per hour is better suited to me so both me and customer knows exactly where we stand.

McG can win this if he picks him off and avoids a brawl or the ground. Thomson looks poor odds at 1.5 againsta tough woodley and again im avoiding betting on the weidman fight. Romero is atough motherfucka and at 1.5 again im avoiding that fight like the plague as well. Not a great night for betting imo, more for enjoying the fights. Best bet i can see is a McG / Natal double.

Thanks lads. All taken on board. Appreciated

Ufc has the better fighters, no questions, but Bellator know how to put a good fight on. Was getting dissallusioned a few years ago with the striker v wrestler match ups that joe silva seemed obsessed with when there was much better match ups staring us in the face. Getting disallussioned now with little things like McG basically getting fights like his upcoming one that he doesnt deserve but gets because he pulls in a crowd, and CM Punk getting a shot at upper echelon mma straight away just because hes a name and again pulls in a crowd, when there are hundreds of good lads fighting like foook

Great little fight and looks a tough little fooker. I get a real bee in my bonnet about bullies, i think most proper lads do. Nice one, thanks for sharing
