    i have loads of quicksilver/vans jumpers,shirts and jackets which have lasted over 10yrs. jeans i now buy when i find them,tommy hilfilger.these are good jeans. work jeans i buy the 'rustler' $17 pair from walmart and they last 6 months,but they do get a right good hammering. i have just now started to buy carhartt hoodies and work jacket.this stuff is yankee and but good kit.

    right o was out early this morning with work as we had 3 inches of snow.so early finish. headed back up into the forestry again because the deer normally bed down when its snows then come out when it finishes and feed hard. so there is a pic of the bait just completely licked AGAIN.monday i threw down 100lb of feed and its gone again. you might see how its just flattened by deer tracks also. these pics give you an idea that this is up close and in the deers faces hunting. the buck that came in (several times today) is 30 yards from me,i can hear him crunching

    ok top pic,i found this in a field,my mate had been trying to hunt it dow.i found it around 8 miles from his hunt site 2nd pic is from my mates Gpa's basement wall.he has hooow many like that. 3rd pic is another mates monster buck,this mount is at my house lol 4th pic is my mates rather large buck,he also has a basement full of mounts. i know he hasnt shot a deer now for 3 yrs as he hasnt seen anything big enough to shoot

    he is a nice buck,he isnt huge,he is huge for what i get to see. i will get some pics of some hunters deer mounts and post em up. sask does have some huge whiteys and people are always wanting to hunt over here.

    ok i headed back up into the forestry again today as it was a holiday over here. i threw down 200lb of grain on saturday and there wasnt a grain left. so threw down another 200lb and sat there. got there around 2.30pm -4c and humidity around 80%,sunny ish. just after 3pm a doe rocked up,bit skittish,she had a brief nibble and off she went. 3.45pm i caught a quick glimpse of a buck,he then pulled up for some feed.he was a small not formed 4 pointer. he was happy feeding and looking at me every now and then.i am around 50 yards from the bait,sitting on the ground un

    its a lot of fuss but its the norm over here and i get great enjoyment baiting and seeing what comes in. game cam pics are always fun to go thru. went back up into the forestry again today.that 200lb of oats/soya beans had bean licked cleaned. there was deer prints just everywhere.trails going all over the place,i struggled to find the perfect spot to sit and wait. todays temp was -8c,wind not so bad but the damn humidity was 93%,today was a absolute killer sitting and waiting.sat and waited from 1.30pm til 5.35pm and nothing,not a fckn thing showed up.

    and now the rumour is any long gun (rifle) which takes a magazine can only hold 5 rounds of ammo. over here,we can get magwell adapters for certain rifles (2 of my rifles have these conversions) and then we can use 'pistol' magazines,these hold 10 rounds of ammo. the RCMP dont like this and now pushing for the law to be changed,outlawing pistol mags in centrefire rifles. there are certain rifles which only use pistol magazines,so some people are going to have expensive paperweights

    a little over a year ago a person decided to start a petition here in canada to gain interest in the archaic law regarding the use of sound mods on rifles. i helped the person collate info,since i was familiar with the Uk laws etc. the petition gained over 10k signatures(not an awfully good amount) and it was presented to the house. the government responded today http://www.ourcommons.ca/Content/ePetitions/Responses/421/e-575/421-01700_JUS_E.pdf just be grateful for what you have back in blighty,i miss my T8s soooooo badly

    yeah i know he is worth dropping but i wonder how he would be next year? he did well not getting shot last year as i had him on a cam 2 days after deer season had finished. here is one of the two pics from last year. deer season doesnt open up til nov 20th for 2 weeks were there cams and bait is but up in the local wildlife management zone it opened nov 1st for 6 weeks.i took a drive up there,30mins away. this place is huge,absolutely massive.in here is whitetail,bear,coyote,wolf,elk ,moose,cougars.here is a couple of pics after i had walked down a trail of thick

    finished work early yesterday,so shot down to the elevator and shovelled up 8 x 100lb bags of soya beans.ripped down to one farmers yard (got to keep em sweet) and dropped off 2 bags for him. ripped to my mates and grabbed my 2 cams.dumped 4bags with him. so got across fields,the bait had been nailed by my initial thoughts.game trails everywhere. swapped my mates cam out for mine and stuck another cam 50 yards back from these pics considering atleast moose got plugged two weeks ago there seems to be no shortage of them here.couple of different buck whitetails are

    well got a call off an ex boss of mine and just picked up 600lbs of soya beans. if i can get an early finish from work friday,i am off to bag a shitton more. you cant go wrong with free bait if youre prepared to shovel it. looking forward to changing out the cam card this weekend and sticking another cam up close by to cover the other trail.

    ripped down this morning. dumped 2 bags of beans and 2 bags of oats. trimmed back all the willows around the bait. set up the cam,which is the same position i took the photo from. you can see one major trail,there is two more close by. the trails were well trodden down with elk

    well my fortune changes lol just found out my old boss works at a local grain elevator,so i contacted him about getting some deer feed. he replies come down with a shovel and bags and fill ya truck. i just spent 30mins and came back with 350lbs of oats and 400lbs of broad beans!!! free deer/pig bait cant be bad. these are getting dumped down in maybe 3 locations tomorrow. also going down and setting 2 cams up were i set up the tree stand. so no pics til next week

    bow hunting is pretty big around by me. couple of friends are into it in a big way for deer and bears. even the schools teach archery but its all fine til this happens http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatoon/hunter-dragged-from-tree-mother-bear-1.4279786 happened not far from me. i dont know what it is about that area as some kids got fatally shot a few weeks later.so the hunter thought he was an elk and let rip with a rifle.

    my mate called me today and said he wanted to get our stuff off the land the farmer had a hissy fit over. so we hauled out the tree stand,bait barrel and picked up every last corn stalk plant out of there. i was even pissed at leaving the apples but hey ho. so 1/4 mile away is more bush along the side of the swamp(see tree stand pic as its behind it) we found three major trails from deer,moose and elk,so dropped the corn plants in between them. also we can fell a couple of small trees and mate will dumped a 1200lb oats bale in there also(pic to come) this will be a good spot as we kn
