  3. yes i think so i spoke to david and his son just as you said one does ducks the other ross i think does pheasants he will deliver to me and added bonus his father supplies pellets ect they told me they can deliver both same time seemed nice people he is not sure of his prices yet but it is looking ok so far thank you again for your help i need to contact him again after our AGM in February to confirm numbers bags feed ect cheers mike

  9. hi thank you for your help i think they are a bigger bird and i have been told that they will hold better i need to try something for next year it is still to mild and our birds are every where except at the hoppers i tried bird puller and only pulled sheep the weather is to be cold for the end off week but i think it will be to late for us
  10. hi lio1 i am in north Lanarkshire we have put ring necks the last couple of years but we have trouble holding them so i thought i would try black necks this coming year as i have been told they dont stray as bad

  12. hi all i am looking for someone who could supply me with 400 English black neck pheasants for next season i would like them six or seven weeks old and delivered last week of June first week July central Scotland area
  13. hi i dont know if this will help at all but i just got a sweat 17 hmr scope off ebay for £40 i have just put it on my savage 93 r hmr i was out yesterday and it was putting shots on top of each other at 100 yards it has a ballistic turret set up for vmax 17 gr bullets comes with a cheap set off mounts i was impressed with it you could get one and keep your fridge nice fridge by the way

  15. personally i think they are affected by the mild weather i think that we should start shooting on the first of December and finish end of February as for the shoots are to blame for wandering birds ringed pheasant off our shoot have been shot 8 miles away the seasons are changing and it is only now starting to get cold up with me and as we shoot every other week we only have two to go no time for birds to come back to feeders i seen midges out today
  16. as above four posts and sheep fence put it on upside down with bigger holes on bottom we had same problem a few years ago when we mixed bird puller with wheat they were after the aniseed
  17. hi lads i am new to the forum and looking for a fox dog would prefer something guaranteed but would take a pup at the right price after reading your posts you seem to be the lads that could help me don't realy want to pay £600 just after xmas
  18. hi i am also a new member as from today . but not as new to shooting i have been shooting for 50 years man and boy i shoot pheasants and fox i like to fish a fly and everything related i catch moles for local farmers and work full time i also help to run our local pheasant shoot i am located in central i have only been reading the hunting life forum for a couple of days but have enjoyed the posts and you are never to old to learn all the best and happy new shooting year to you all
