    no mate never had the chance i lived right as far as there northerly range ended but i moved down south for the last six months and tried to call in a cougar a few times with no luck ,once in a lifetime to acheive that in canada mackem if you are interested in a cougar hunt I know of a guide called chilcotin hillbilly who has had some huge toms he locates the toms general area, and then you fly out and you then try to find the tom. he finds doing it that way you stand a much better success rate of a large tom as you can find a lot of females and juveniles if you bo

    Hi sussex its not rifle calibre that does meat damage its bullet construction and velocity you could smash a deer to bits with a .22-250 using ballistic tips but have no meat damage using a .375 with say nosler partitions or barnes tsx ive killed lots of deer size game with large rifles with very little meat damage

    a mule deer buck can get up to 400# live weight i shot one around 350# whitetails are a little smaller the largest fallow buck would be about the size of a small whitetail buck in my opinion

    Beaver meat makes superb bait for traps, in very cold climates, as it doesnt freeze and it smells very strong, i would welcome them here.

    LOL that reminds me of my neibour when i lived in north bc he used a .338wm he wasnt the most experienced hunter, i remember one morning hearing 5 shots, after about an hour he came over to tell me about his success. he had shot a mule deer doe. it was in pieces LOL

What bullet heads was he using at 650 yards that bullet was travelling fairly slow so i cant see why there was that much meat damage, must have been a balistic tip i shot a whitetail with a .375hh at about 50 yards and there was hardly any damage. large calibre bullets dont normally expand much on deer size animals

    lynx trust uk always apreciate donations to help reintroduce lynx to uk. and face tough opposition from landowners. its only a matter of time in my opinion,looking forward to it

    where did you get that from out of interest ? as i bet it comes from someone with a financial consern as the data ive seen before give that many losses anually per lynx population per country also how could they know that 1 lynx has killed so many sheep in a month ,it surely could have been more than one animal. if the amount is true lots of people have a lot to gain with blaming supposed killings on lynx a 30# to 40# animal eating 7 sheep in a month ,cant see that. lynx are happy with a rabbit every other day cheers Dan
