    My Hungarian friend Zoltan brought the truck over with him, he's a traditionalist. Like I said before, the ash die back is real bad, and the local government are a little worried as it appears to be spreading to other tree species. Even potentially sightings of red foxes, which are down right illegal. Things are looking bad for Zoltan, everyones wondering what was in his trunk when he came over . . . .

    Lets face is, good, hard hunting beagle blood, although it can be used in bramble patches and hedges, comes into its own when you want to run something a bit further, or something a bit bigger, and they pack well. Best dogs I've seen for closer quarters have been terriers or terrier x's. But i'm talking 3/4 beagle etc types.

    The trick is not to catch much, that way you're just an idiot with a dog, and there are a lot of those about.
