    Sounds interesting
  2. The problem is, there are lot of colds and coughs going around at the moment. I think what a lot of people are self diagnosing ...... is a cold.
  3. Yes it’s not a new thing. Other virus are similar.
  4. Yer some will even take and hang etc Not too many about but they do exist.
  5. Already pretty well f****d mate. Because of all of the numpties travelling from all over to 'test' their dogs and film it for Facebook. Forestry commission have shot a lot of it out and the local police etc are hot on it. Shame really as it was a great spot for many years until the dick swinging. Edited to add - clean ears for a dog caught pig.
  6. Yer you get registered mobile slaughter men that will kill for you on farm etc
  7. Still got to get it killed and cut up, legally. Which Is the hard part in this area of the country. Also I’m talking 250-350 lambs a load, every week or so.
  8. Supermarkets will use anything to smack the price down. It’s a big cartel.
  9. There are so many positives and I’m very thankful for the life I live mate.
  10. It’s standard practice. If a responder arrives at an accident with multiple casualties, there’s already a priority list.
  11. Realised it sounds a bit poor me. Point was just some folk are flat out. We aren’t dealing with the virus or anything, so no where near what the medical lot are doing. But we start lambing in couple weeks, no student or owt, main staff member is vulnerable category so trying to stay in as much as possible. Struggling to get meds or supplies. Lamb price had just crashed so I lost about £15,000 over night with more to come, but don’t get any gov help due to nature of buisness. On 7 days a week, live alone, Mrs has gone back to family etc. Wouldnt mind too much being home with
  12. I’m not really going to say on an open forum for obvious reasons, but I have two family members who are high up in NHS. Both Doctors, but these days operating at policy level. I was just advised from stopping my old man messing about with chainsaws etc or anything else would could lead to the daft old bugger ended up in hospital.
  13. We may be ok on the respirator front if big industry here can churn them out fast enough. Dyson has developed one - production ready, just needs passing by those that pass these things safe for human use. That would be a bit of a game changer
  14. Two reasons - one - because it’s absolutely the most logical thing to do and it’s ultimately standard practice and responsible use of resources. two - know the right folk to ask.
  15. Exactly the same thing being pushed through here. Soon to be over 65 and no icu bed sadly. That’s the real cost of the spread of the virus that people don’t think about.
  16. Does make me laugh a bit that we’ve grown adults moaning that they can’t handle lock down, because they are bored ? havnt seen their mates etc ? Get a grip ffs, it’s been a week. They sound like a bunch of spoilt kids, which I suppose they are really. If you can’t do a month without seeing your mates, going down pub or gym and you get so so bored etc, then maybe it’s a good lesson for you in toughening the f**k up. Some of us have to work seven days a week still, and don’t see anyone or go anywhere, so the whole sitting on your sofa watching tv or in the garden with a beer
  17. I’ve said since the start .... America is f****d.
  18. It’s getting serious now, me and the dog have run out of conversation.
  19. Shame really. Our grandparents went and fought years of war, and we can’t do a month sat on our sofas. Sad times.
  20. Thank f**k, you just saved me a load of typing. Good man!
  21. I’m in a field with 1% battery, so I won’t reply in full. But it does kind of blow my mind mate if I’m honest. we aren’t ‘all the same’ at all, but why does that mean we should only breed with strict racial groups, if everyone had always thought like that, we’d all be as inbred as the folk in Norfolk.
  22. Different yes. But not that much so, other than colour, you largely get a similar type don’t you. Maybe a bit more like someone with a collie x, looking for a good Lurcher to use and refusing to use one because it was a bull x with a ‘stupid big head’. It’s been fairly well proven that it’s nurture more than nature which for the majority of people leads them to be where and who they are in life. How far so you take it out of curiosity? Are whites of different nationalities ok to marry and have kids? Genuine question as you’re way of thinking is quite different to mine.
