    Refresh straight away mate. I calibrate the compass every now and agin which is really easy but like I say it’s all I’ve used for 4 years and never a problem. Got mates that use them and never really had a problem. Out of about the 8 collars I’ve seen used can’t remember any of us having a problem to be fair. Atb Igz

    Go with garmin mate. You won’t regret it. Go for the t5 mini collars there smaller than the t5 s. Little bit less battery time but still good for about 9 hours life constantly on Atb Igz

    Can’t beat the garmin in my opinion. This be my 5 th season with them and never missed a beat. Gps 4 u Is the company. There in America but also good with customer service if any ever problems or questions. Mine worked straight out the box. I only ever use the compass to tell me how far dogs are if they go out of sight and in what direction. Use mine mainly in the day but if I go to land I don’t know the lye of and depending what I’m Running I sometimes use it lamping. A lot of the time you can just leave receiver in your pocket as it’s only maybe if they have caught and not moving from it the

    How do you charge your phones on it mate. Be a good idea for when I’m camping. Kids killed my van battery last time which cost me 100 quid for a new one ?

    I’m not too sure mate I never really done it. My best mates a roofer so he done it but from what I could see it’s like plastic or rubbery strands look a bit like mop strands. It’s the new thing now dry ridges apparently but deffo looks betterAtb Igz

    Depends what fields are like mate and what your lamping. I’d buy once but try get yourself a 170 if you can and you should be good for most with that. The 240 are good when your on big land

    Think I’m going to stick with the heat lamps. My dogs bed boxes are quite large and I know that one lamp in there keeps them heated well but I’ll try the ceramic bulbs as it was the more expensive lamps I brought so must be the bulbs. Think I payed 30-40 for lamps and the was from some sort of farm shop aswel. Cheers lads ?

    I use heat lamps mate but only when temps drop to about 6/7 degrees outside and just night time unless minus and below outside I’ll put it on a timer to come on for an hour here and there. Never really had one that lasts though to be honest. A lot of the bulbs seem to blow in them then you can’t unscrew bulb. Probably there way of getting you to buy new one but. If anyone knows of ones from a certain place don’t do this. Let me know as need to buy two myself as last two done same. Wasn’t cheap ones eithier I’m sure I pay about 40 quid each and think I went through three last season.

    Get ya dog and lamp. Walk wherever you want to walk if you think it’s a decent spot and your dog should learn you as much as you’ll learn him. I never new fuckall about lamping really I’d been out down the Forest of Dean on a night I’ll never forget ?. Seen a good dog run, I can say he was a good dog as for what he was doing single handed was very impressive although wouldn’t be my kind of lamping but did get me thinking. Got myself a lamp a dog and off we went and taught ourselves most things. Couple of mates helped out at times but we were out as much as possible. You don’t need to wait till

    Here’s mine they’ve had a new lid today, well tiles anyway. They never did like like the smooth ones and I had some left over from the house so my mate got his lads to throw them on so all matching with the house roof now. Sleep boxes are breeze blocked at back of kennel with a lift up lid. Insulated floor with thermaboard then a 3ml plastic wipe clean floor but they got Astro turf thermal blankets and a heat lamp if needed ?. Better heating than me at the minute I got no heating downstairs

    If I’m right aren’t there always 2 red lights on the battery and only the last 3 light up green even when fully charged. That’s what mine does anyway and it’s always done that from new.
