Garmin t5 mini mate

He’s 28 1/2 29 mate. Covers the ground really well to be honest and does what needs to be done. Been a great dog for me. I have put an awful lot of hours into this dog though and if I hadn’t he wouldn’t have put half the stuff away. For 3 seasons it was just me and him 4,5 times a week we were out and even on the days we wasn’t out out we’d still go for an hours and a half mooch. So I do believe in you get out of it what you put in.

I’ve no need for a new dog at min so Ill just have to keep my fingers crossed but I know what you mean it would be a shame not to see what he could produce

This fellas gotta have had retrieved close to the hundred mark I’d say. Hard as nails no reverse gear and can put his hand to other stuff just as well. Hopefully get a pup out of him in another couple of seasons when I’m in need of a new dog.

Seems to be getting somewhere now. Took us a month to get him back somewhere near where I want him. Had a good nights lamping last night and seemed to still have plenty left in the tank after a good 4 1/2 hours out.

Lanyard onto the thermal and lamp. Looped over your head then easy to leave the thermal hanging round your neck while you grab the lamp with the hand you was holding the thermal in ? -

First proper night back out tonight after about 4/5 weeks off with illness. Been getting out for hour or two here and there in the day and he seems back to himself hunting as he was. Not expecting too much of him but hel get a couple of decent runs hopefully

Just stopped eating. All his back end stiffend up struggling to walk. Vet thought lactic acid build up as no signs of pain. Flushed him with fluid, few jabs here and there but hopefully now he eating again hel be on the mend and get a couple of outings before Xmas

Went out one night, came back never eat his grub but he did get double breakfast as he had my other dogs bowl off the side when my back was turned so I thought nothing of it. Next day came out of kennel all his back legs stiff really struggling to walk. Rubbed him down quite hard everywhere no yelps or sign of pain. Back end shaking when pissing. Took him vets on 3 rd day he said lactic acid build up. Jabbed him and antiinflamatory still no better couple days later and still not eat so had him pumped full of fluids. Few more jabs. Started to move round a lot better back to himself in mobility

My young dog. We was starting to get out about 4 times a week until he got I’ll and never eat for about a week. Had him up the vets a couple of times. Looks like a skeleton at the minute but back to eating properly now so hoping he back to his old self within a few weeks
