    The only thing ever achieved by banning something.............is nothing. Thousands of people are killed worldwide every year by traffic accidents, has anyone heard the call to ban motor vehicles.........of course not. The percentage of people killed in gun incidents in relation to people killed in road traffic accidents is miniscule, but here’s the rub, the revenue raised from gun related sports and interests is really bloody miniscule in relation to the revenue generated from motor vehicles……..so! let’s ban the gun.     Not worth the hassle unless you are really tight on space. I use cheap plastic buckets, just drill some drainage holes, fill with growing medium and off you go, keep a few in the greenhouse and you'll have fresh home grown potato's through the cold months. I also use a plant tier made from scrap wood, this way you can stand three or more buckets in the floor space of one. Rob

    At thirty yards it's best to be as close to 12ft/lb as posible. I recon no less than 10ft/lb at twenty yards. The power you mention for your guns is really quite low, 6ft/lb is air pistol power. My advice to you is please don't try to shoot any quarry with either of your guns, or at best no more that ten yards for the 6ft/lb and a maximum of fifteen yards for the 8ft/lb. Hope this helps. Rob

    The idea might be worthy of consideration if the young one’s could just string a legible sentence together, at the age of fourteen I was expected to use correct punctuation and grammar. Wud and cud etc just wud not do. Perhaps a ‘Junior Section’ should (shud) be created, and let the young studs moderate it!!!!! Now that could (sorry, I mean cud) be fun Rob.....aka Grumpy Old Man
