I remember having one of these as a boy but I believe they were made smoothbore and only fired dust cartridges, effective range of about ten yards. Mine had a skelleton type stock and that's about all I can remember as my dear old Dad decided it was time for me to have a 410. Hope this helps a bit. Rob

Bi pods and springers don't really mix well, you're best bet is to get down and practice shooting with your foremost elbow on the ground. To be honest with you this is my style of shooting with airgun and rimfire too, a bi pod is just something else to lug about in my opinion.

It all depends on what you're shooting, if it's rats in barns you don't need full power, 10ft/lb will do the job, if it's wabbits then nearer to 12ft/lb the better.

Last day of the shooting season for me has been spent sneezing, coughing and feeling dreadful, small consolation is the weather, it's awful. I’m getting a bit fed up of colds and flu, I was ill for three weeks in December with Clarkson’s bird flu and now I’ve got it again. -
At last, a genuine reply to this fairy tale, no need to apologise FJager, it needed to be said. Some people actually belive the multi faceted Lord B actually composed the original post, he/she did not, it's on just about every forum on the web.

I'm more of a role model!!! But then I don't have a breast enlargement (they are big enough) or flash them about....... And I'm confused about my ethnisity; white guy wearing a middle eastern scarff!! Oh I'm all confused......do I shave my head, wear a man-skirt and speak in a squeeky voice or grow my hair long, swear, mugg old ladies and wear a hoodie?? I just don't know which way to turn!! You just can't beat a bit of 'in house' fighting.

I concur ditch, for a man of so many words you'd think he would like the publicity...... 83% no when i voted. I often hear the hunting community say were i live, that if the goverment tried a hunting ban, it would be the last thing they get to do as they would mark the voting slip in accordance. Just voted and the no vote is now down to 81%, these anti hunt pricks are not good for my blood pressure, why do these limp wristed have nothing better to do than f u c k it up for the rest of us.
