    local rag

We had similar nonsence in our local rag (The Louth Leader) about two years ago, many sightings of The Wolds Panther were reported, even some very fuzzy photos were published. I emailed a letter to the editor saying any hunter worth his salt would have the thing in the bag within 24 hours, I went on to offer the services of myself and a couple of hunting friends to capture the beast alive………Oddly enough my letter was never published and I was never contacted by the paper. The story ran out of steam after a couple of months and as far as I know Tibbles is still at large.
  4. I'm of the 'better to be safe than sorry' brigade, my cabinet is bolted to two walls and the floor. As others have said you can easily get away with the minimum, but I like to think if anyone is going to have a go at stealing my guns, they're going to have to work hard to get them.
  5. I used to do a lot of running too mad al, and like you I never drank water until after I'd finished, I see runners now a days carrying water with them, that makes me laugh. The only bottled water I will ever buy has malt and hops in it.
  6. Both are excellent guns and it's all down to personal preference, to be honest I don't know which one I would go for. Not much help I know, sorry.
  7. Good luck with your application mate, shame you have to wait so long and to be honest I can't see any justification for the time delay, 7 months is not on.
  8. I'm quite a fan of Simmon's scopes, I have a 3-9x50 on my rimfire and I'm very pleased with it.
  9. Couldn't have put it better myself Don I'm with these two on this one.
  10. Unscrupulous people with excess money are buying land and property just to make obscene profits, leaving people who actually need the land and property, but have not got the money, with no hope. Ratman2 It's called democracy, it means you can spout off s**t like this and I can say..let the peasants eat dirt! Yeh!! fair comment, I'm just pissed off with all the property developers who are buying up all the small houses in rural areas and turning them into mansions, then sell them off to people who have the dosh, depriving our children of any hope of staying local. Rant over
  11. I had a look at that with trepidation having no idea what to expect, it’s damn funny.

  13. Good question Celticwar. Lawzy you've not told us what pcp you already own, nor what you are considering buying, so how can we offer any advice mate.
  14. That's a good write up Ditch Gun shops, oh! dear hide my wallet, I become a drooling fool every time I go in one When I win the lottery I'm going to buy a gun shop with a shooting range, it will be closed to the public and I'll just enjoy myself all day long. I have an old sbs and I love it, I've been told it was made early 60's but I've no idea, it's a double trigger non ejector. I use it for rough shooting and sporting clays, it gets looked after just as well as my Miroku, cleaned and oiled after every use. I often wonder who owned it before me and what action it saw.
  15. It's time Diana was allowed to rest in peace, it's over ten years now and nothing will be gained from this continued inquest.
  16. I recon chat has spilled over into this thread
  17. Try here http://www.gunspares.co.uk/ Good luck and I hope you enjoy your Meteor, superb airguns, I love them.

    Bio Diesel

Just to add as a warning, 2500ltrs of cooking oil per year is legal, kerosene and claret are illegal
  19. I'd say Sparrow Hawk, they seem to fancy pigeons more than sparrows.
  20. My first was called Betty, she wore tiny short skirts and very tight tops. She worked as a live in nanny for my boss, the first 'encounter' was actually on my boss's bed. We had both just turned sixteen and we were together for nearly a year.
  21. Thanks mate, just wish I could get it right more often.
  22. Try Orange Curacao mixed with any blended whisky, about 25% curacao to 75% whisky or to taste. Now that is damn good.
  23. Before you start paying someone to strip that side of the engine get a compression test done, if the compression pressure on number six is within tolerances the engine will not need to be stripped, and it could be something simple like a faulty injector. To be honest mate a good mechanic with the right scanning equipment should soon highlight the fault.
