  9. If you feed raw veg i personally think you are keeping the dogs digestive system in perpetual upset yes you can make it more palatable by liquidising but is there a REAL benefit?? Herbivores such as the horse have a high ratio, since vegetative foods generally require more prolonged digestion than animal-derived materials. In omnivores such as dogs and people, the ratio is lower. And carnivores such as cats have the lowest ratio of all. So, diets with a high vegetable content tend to have lower digestibility in dogs because of their indigestible fiber content, whereas the digestibility of
  10. dogs have a unsacculated ( smooth ) colon so feeding raw veg achieves nothing other than pushing whatever you fed with it through there system quicker ie makes them shite more goodness can be derived from veg the easiest way is to feed the water left from boiling veg
  11. if its only a few thousand i wouldn't worry ( if you do want to invest i would go with art work and get specialist advice) if you have millions that's a whole different ball game
  12. i love all this "thin skin" shit "skin is skin" its all the same thickness whether on a lurcher or a whip run a sighthound into something sharp and it cuts simple its easier to see on a whippet as they are short haired
  13. was someone saying "his best attribute was his chin"?? oops, it was a farce he looked vacant the whole way through and to be fair he could of ko'd the Canadian early doors if he had boxed
  14. been caught flushing with dogs too gun on permission, argued the point was told by plod they would arrest next time they caught me and i could have my day in court to explain the "grey areas of the hunting act" also the land owner would be stood up there with me!! with a possible 2k fine etc etc basically local plod will charge you as they have no idea other than anyone in possesion of a running dog is a "wrong un"
  15. Depends what your using it for mate. I have a few 300 lumen cree headlights, theyre handy wee numbers but they wouldn't have much power if you were looking to lamp rabbits for example, except in small fields. if you carnt lamp with 300 lumens theres something wrong with the torch its all i use now and my dogs take coney with it no probs

  22. LV, Eng FT Ch Haulstone Larry won the IGL ( UK ) Retriever Championship in 1937 running as a golden retriever. His Grandmother Lizzie was registered with the KC as ( retriever interbred) ; His great grandmother was Haulstone Jenny ( Retriever Interbred) and his gggrandfather was Eng FT Ch Laylers Defender ( Labrador). And his owner was not viewed as a cheat by either the Kennel Club or his fellow competitors AND people did purchase pups from him as his lines are still carried through to today. And if you looked at photographs of him - you would say he was a golden retriever. Now if the K
