    I only paper punch past 45 yards. I couldnt get a consistant enough groupings at further distances with the 8.44 grain pellets thats why my confidence lays with the heavies. FF

    Cheers guys. Most helpful. But i did notice on si browns graph that the scope hieght is different can just about get a fag paper between scope n barrel. 37mm from center of barrel to center of scope. Does this mean (closer to the barrel) a loopier trajectory? Because the ft boys use high mounts (flater trajectory)? FF

    Couple of things... Do you use bleech to whiten the cleaned down stock? Lovely looking dog, is that a patterdale?(i need a terrier to help me ferret) What are you going to use to protect the sanded barrel n comp tube? Looking really good great stuff. FF

    Right guys... Ive always liked these pellets and have previonsly had my zero set to 30 meters which allows me to shoot out to shoot out to 70 meters to paper. Ive just got a new stock and it needs re zeroing, with your expert knowledge and trail n error in the field what have you found to be the best zero for optimal trajectory? The gun is a daystate regal .177 shooting at 11.4 fpe on average Many thanks FF

    I had a doctors appointment and was running late for a job interview, Got in to see the doctor and he said "I need to leave a urine, fecease and semem sample. I explained to him that i was in a bit of a hurry, and was it ok if i just left my pants. FF

    Is this a webley raider from around 2005? If so i have heard that the webley accupell pellets are supposed to be good too. I used to shoot them out of my ags litew8 but this was back in 2004 ish FF

    I leave them ones for the ferrets. Unless you have to do it. Or put a longnet all round it and stick 2 ferts in and have fun. Im quite lucky with my perm as there are loads of warrens in open ground with just nettles on or just on the hedge line. But i hate the ones on the drive where it seems to be thick black thorn bushes on either side, and thats where they have asked me to ferret next week. FF

    Ive ferreted a couple but not had a milky since middle of december. But have bolted a few youngens palm of hand size. FF

    Got out this morning to my perm. Took a lovely little ferret that i havent used since september as shes small and hypo, the sort you have to watch all the time. I had been saving a warren for the begining of the year as a treat. So i netted up 18 holes spread over 15-17 meters. To one side of the warren open field and to the other a track way then some woodland. Put the ferret in and straight back out, not good, tried her in another hole much better, bolted 3 in 5 minutes i had 2 in my hand as the third one bolted he managed to get out the purse net but ran straight back in

    Ive only had to do this twice, I had to cut a bramble vine out of the hedge row, poke it down the hole with thorns pionting back to you until it stops and twist it. This grabbed onto the rabbits fur and enabled me to pull the rabbit and ferret out. One time it was about 6 foot inside the hole and the other was about 10 foot inside. Next time ill take some photos of it. Ive been lucky i think. FF

    Got out one last time in 2017... 24 dec 2017 One of the boys wanted to come with me, always nice when they ask. Done one fairly big warren, worked 2 ferrets and got 6 rabbits. No dog either so had some lovely chases down to the long nets, but thats ok it keeps you warm. Must get him some camo overalls or something. (Sticks out abit) He has his own ferreting bag with 10 nets, some cutters for the nettles drink and grub, and a home made box for his ferret. The time before we only got one rabbit, but he located the holes and netted them, (i did the pegs) so he done w
