    Hello Pip Are you brand new to the game? Are you a member of a terrier club? if the answer is no and no, dont ask what they are doing for me me me, do something for your terrier and join a club and press for the club to become affiliated to the Fed. You will then get an insight in to what the Fed does for all.

    Shoudnt really talk about the man as he has now passed away, however, for the protection of the Broder terier enthuisiast coming through the ranks, do not be taken in by the sales shit of todays breeders that will quote that Fenerolli had good working Borders, he didnt, he was a breeder that did work his terriers to a fashion. Jeff when he passed away had in excess of 30 terriers in his kennel and not 1 was a working terrier.     Hello Red Rob We all have to make a living to support our families and I am fully aware of the £1000s of pounds that has and can be made FROM KC breeds and Good for them, they feed and rear and look after the dam and pups, put up with sleeples nights etc, but if they want to choose that life of the "breeder show man" good sticj to the KC breeds and shows, try being the big arse there and see it as a challenge to compete on their playing field.     Now that the season has began and Keepers will be requiring our services even more now because of the foot and mouth preventing Hunts assisting in the Keepers needs. I wonder how many of the terriers we see winning at shows or advertised at stud will be used and fully tested? Will they be fully tested or are they now worth more as a valuable breeding asset for puppy farming. If you do know of any what blood lines are they? Seen some nice looking terriers on the back of this months EDRD that looked like they had done a bit, nothing mentioned about their breeding, any info? .

    Hi Darcy The problem with this site some comments and photographs cannot be managed, some comments and photos would be and are damaging to the Fed and terrier work in general. We cannot completely manage/edit all members comments, Antis will and have used this site to make silly damaging comments and then reproduced them for their gain under the guise of true terrier men/women When the Hunting ban was being discussed and legislation produced abstracts from EDRD, and a couple of well known terrier men were quoted in the Leagues evidence against terrier work.     Isnt one , go through the Copuntryside Alliance, they used to have individual non voting members, stopped now, need to be a club, the club will be checked out to ensure not anti and is prepaired to work with in the feds guid lines Good luck

    We have such an organisation called the Countryside Alliance, yes its not perfect, there will always be people who shoot that disagree with terrier work or coursing as an alternative to their chosen sport and control method and vice versa, but I understand the need for such a method of control where my methods are not suitable. It would be and has proved impossible to have 1 so called allinace/organisation to equally rerpresent us all.     Hello All Bosum, in relation to the BFSS now CA, they were the back bone to the Fed when it was first started, they financialy supportwed the Fed and also promoted it from 1984, I attended in 85 or 86, that long ago now and rarely missed the AGMs Barry is a bit of a 1 man band, the work he does takes him away from his family for long periods, he has travelled all over Europe meeting Politicians, attending Forms, debates with the League Against Cruel sports etc, these are to name a few The fed did have a good membership,, meetings were held in Worcestershire which was a centre point

    The National working Terrier Federation as all working terrier enthusiasts should be aware is the back bone of our sport. Have no doubs if it wanst for the FED and B Wade we would not have any terrier work left. Yes terrier work has been massivly hammered and had no help from BASC who completely undermined the terreir world and our supporting organsations for their Keepers and their needs.     God you cant half talk (or type) a lot never been out with the man but knows some one who has or owns a so called nuttall dog, don't we all we had two off him 25 years ago and they did everything that he said they would do. As for size he was saying the same then, both were 13 or under but more important could get anywhere. One last thing you say hes a friend of yours , friends should say it to your face not behind your back I have!
