  2. Polecat coloured Jill kit here looking for a good home she is 8 weeks old eating raw and kibble still a little nippy but getting better each day. East Yorkshire
  3. My advice would be to not house them too close to your house or particularly your bedroom window unless you like being woken up on a night by them scratching around and clawing at the wire (maybe that's just mine). As for smell I don't find them smelly if they are cleaned out regularly (remove the dropping every day or every other) as this can attract flies.
  4. Sire is 25tts and dam is 20tt should make somewhere in between, what do you think she will make?
  5. That is my plan I'm hoping to take her to a friends small farm to meet a variety of livestock. It's something I am quite pationate about, even if we are never in that position i will be content knowing that if we were she would cause them no harm. I see the horror stories daily on Facebook from people that have neglected this and it makes me sad tbh.
  6. She's full of her self, I'm looking forward to the future with her.
  7. Meet Darcey she is a Bedlington whippet grey x collie grey bitch 6 weeks old bred from working parents. I have been waiting for this moment for years and I finally went to pick my pup up on Saturday and could hardly contain my excitement. This is all new for me so any tips/ advice welcome. Enjoy the pics ??
  8. Not had either but always admired P B's leather work, it looks fantastic quality and I personally prefer the traditional shape to the GH style collar rather than the squared off edges ??
  9. Similar to Aussie Whip I have two very different workers a Jill that is very fast, slips easily through the nets, flushes them out, very rarely kills and never leaves anything behind and comes out when there's nothing left. Then I have a big hob who takes his time has a tendency to kill rather than flush them out into the nets. Both ferrets are ridiculously tame and easy to collar but I prefer to work the Jill as i rarely need the spade and the rabbits are less chewed ?
  10. I went to a ferret show a few weeks ago, hobs are okay to show in season mine was as yellow and smelly as can be so I was not expecting to come anywhere but he won. Jill's are not to be shown heavily in season and as far as I'm aware I don't think you can take Jill's with kits. This was a show run by the British ferret club rules, it probably varies.
  11. I know exactly who your talking about.
