  10. Sorry guys haven't been able to log on in a long while. I bought my own house since this post. Tbf it has been in the pipeline for a while but it's the best thing I ever did.
  11. I have heard knuckle joints and any strong weight bearing bones should not be given to dogs (including knuckle bones) as they are too hard for their teeth? There's always contradictory information out there and if you listened to it all you'd be frightened to feed anything but it sort of makes sense?
  12. That will be because they know if they see you heading towards them that means it's time to go back inside and the fun ends, if you can spend more time blending into the back ground and get them out as much as possible they get used to their surrounds and you become the fascination and they will start coming up to you. Mine were the same ??
  13. I would say the cat is just curious, I have a cat and she used to be really intrigued by my ferret but the ferret has chased her a few times and tried to have a go and now she just keeps out of the way. Saying that my cat is soft as, maybe a cat that's used to hunting rats may be sharper but I still doubt that if it got a nip it would still be interested. Cats usually try to avoid injury at all cost.
  14. Thanks I'm really pleased with her, can't wait until she's of a age to accompany me ferreting ?
