The Fallow Rut has all but finished here in Australia and to be honest it was very quiet in our location. I searched for quite some time before even beginning to hear some croaking. Yes I have watched some of their early series. I think it was called "Beyond Belief". I think they also used a 7mm STW in some of those videos.

I am in the process of testing the 162gr Hornady ELDX in my 7mm Rem Mag. Accuracy is very good, speed is excellent now I just need to test their knock down power.

My mate has that caliber in a Tikka T3 with a Bell and Carlson stock. It shoots extremely well and for the price is very hard to beat. You will see it towards the end of this video. Sambar Deer are a very tough animal even with a well placed shot they can cover a lot of ground before expiring. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dcFj9RSjX4

I had a look at their website. Pretty impressive. They are available in Australia but at around double the cost of what you can get them for so really not a viable option.

I have heard of them but know very little about the overall package. Yours sounds like a real machine.

That my friend is what I call dick measuring shooting. See who can shoot the furthest imo. And you might as well have use an rpg to thin them out "Dick measuring" I like that analogy. So are you implying that everyone that only shoots short distances has a little dick? That's not very nice. We have different methods for eliminating rabbits and this is just one and it guarantees quick kills which is unlike many other methods including poisons. RPG? Well detonation of burrows/warrens has also been used over the years as well. Just for interest sake how would you have gone about reducing the same
