Nearly all the purebred molossers I've seen lately have been poor examples when compared to their ancestors, saying that there's a bullmastiff near me that's like the old type, athletic but I don't think it's 100% pure, probably a good thing. I know a fella with a presa mastiff cross, lovely dog and very stable. If I was to go for a molosser type i'd definitely get a cross.

Do you think you'd need a telescopic sight? Or for the peta brigade could always use a tranquilizer dart delivered by blowpipe, you'd need some lungs though! imagine how much tranquilizer you'd need to bring down one of those!

Bad luck mate, taking her out to the country would be the right thing to do, it's where she's happiest. I had a bullterrier that hated the vets, he'd start shivering by the door, when the time came I got the vet to come round to my house, nice sunny day, he was calm and lying in the garden when the vet came round so his last minutes there was no stress. Our dogs give there all for us, so when the time comes we should do right by them. all the best.
