  2. Historically speaking , I was never at the trials, wouldn't be my thing anyway, but I'm sure them dogs were game, but for a pit to take a hammering sometimes for hours in the box and still find it within to win the match IMHO thats deep game historically speaking of course, jmho
  3. If the dog was German hunting terrier or jagd same thing , crossed with a pit, staff ect I'd find it hard to believe the off spring was only 20 lbs as a jagd is about 20 lbs or more in most cases therefore the off spring of that cross would be heavier unless it was well diluted
  4. German terrier was probably a jagd terrier obviously then crossed with a bull terrier
  5. Carpet mill and a slat mill , are used for two totally different types of conditioning imho ,

  15. People can talk all the bull they want , very few people could control a bull blooded. Dog if it kicked off, but its sickening to think that multiple people couldnt do nowt to save the poor man , may he rest in peace.
  16. I have. A Stanley. One bought at Screwfix i think , used for work. But now stays in the van at all times, its got a metal lined. Probe very flexible about 1.5 metres long, the brightness and resolution adjustment is very good can be a usedull bit of kit on an awkward or dangerous dig jmho
