I been to Brian Nuttals yard a few times over the years, IMHO there seemed to be two different types of terrier on the yard, one the smooth coated bully type and the other rough coated borderish looking jmho, I've seen photos of him from years ago and the dogs looked rough coated, maybe the smooth coat has something to do with the bulldog that been there jmho, Brian is a very likeable man in every way, but a peddlar is always a peddlar
