  1. How much for a sack of them shipped state side ?
  2. .... Someone needs to explain this law deal. I'm still used to stuff being legal dude to size. Like you can only use say 110's-160 on dry land or similar. Are y'all saying each and every trap has to be reviewed then legalized?
  3. lemme just go ahead and be the devil advocate ?
  4. Yeah apparently their really good now. Folks are taking everything from rats to beaver with the larger versions.
  5. Yeah I've heard similar but apparently rgb is a new out fit now and traps are of a much better quality so may be worth another look
  6. Stumbled upon this on my other forms ADC sub forum and figured some of y'all would be interested. Don't know how common it is for grey's to get into people's house over there but figured it might be useful to someone.
  7. Not always about money, most folks I know who do it just love to do it,it's just a passion for them
  8. Anyone like it ? Or at least watching it ? Stumbled on this channel and really enjoy their stuff, figured some of y'all might. Really well put together no drama like on tv.
  9. O wait y'all are talking about soccer......?
  10. So I'm just curious here, say I moved across the pond and still wanted to shoot. What would y'all consider to be the top 5 calibers for the UK. And I mean 5 calibers you could do about everything you can over there. Rats to deer Seems to me a .22lr .223 a 6.5 of some sort and 12 or 20ga would have me pretty much covered if I could reload . But just curious what y'all say.
  11. I know who goes around telling kids Santa isn't real ??
  12. Heard a accent figured I'd check to see if it's one of y'all ??
  13. Very interesting! I think I understand how it's working but your gonna have to give me a day or two to mull it over ?? ADHD makes me take time to fully understand things like this ?
  14. I do from time to time but honestly I don't want to do it as any fo of a job or something. I really enjoy fabricating and building all the mechanisms and what not. Love sharing how I did everything as well but as soon as it becomes a deal of making stuff to sell it just becomes annoying and tedious.
  15. Hay what can I say wanted to make sure I gave lots detailed pictures incase one of y'all wanted break the mold and actually build something for a change ??
  16. I think stoats are smaller. From what my gf described ( she was apparently chasing it out the chicken coop when I pulled up today . Apparently this is what it looks like so long tailed American weasel Anyhow the trap is only 6"x6" wide and tall and 34" long I think due to the outward swinging doors had to make it longer. Not to mention I wanted to have something I could use on other critters ,fox squirrels ,grey squirrels, smaller skunks, mink muskrats ,barn rats ect. Also since coyotes coon and other critters will try to get at the trapped animal out alot of times I had to make i
  17. Another cage I just finished up. Girl Fred has a weseal messing around the chick coop and side it has to be live trapped so I came up with this. It's double powered doored has a flat treddel that functions either way .
  18. Just a few more. Interesting fact that newhouse trap is still a preferred trap by most researchers doing wolf work. Either that or the live stock protection clone. Basically the punctures from the teeth allow for drainage and keep the foot alive in cold temperatures then about anything else. That being said that the offset version where the Jaws and teeth don't shut all the way.
  19. The first three are probably from around the 1930's-60's the last two are front he 80's I think.funny thing is alot of this equipment is still being used as is or modified to fit state laws . I know alot of trappers who still feel traps like the 3n's and new house are superior to modern traps for various reasons
  20. Doing a thread on another site sharing old trapping literature and figured y'all would appreciate it as well.
  21. Find a metal food grade 5gal bucket with a sealable lid and get a large metal strainer. Put a piece of ply woods or similar under it's to work as a heat sink. Wince it cools down you can transfer it to smaller containers ? would be surprised if you have to drop more than $30
  22. I know alot of people will straight up vomit or get physically ill even driving by a dead one on the road . Personally it doesn't phase me very much anymore due to all the baits and lures I use contain large amounts of either fresh or tinctured skunk essence. As far as knowing once she stares eating solid food good we have out side pre release enclosures that we put animals in. Theirs plenty of natural forage and what not in there so once we see them digging for worms and trying to spray when feeling threatened they should be ready to release.
