Just curious what's eveyone use for their everyday pocket knife ? I've about feel in love with this little CRKT.fits the hand amazingly , full Tang and after I re found the bevel it keeps a really really nicer edge. Does near about everyone cutting boxes at work to zipping open critters from squirrels to hogs. Nice little deal for less then $30 ? Anyhow what's eveyone elese like ?

Asked some of my online freinds on one of my chats ( forgetting not everyone lives in the middle of nowhere like me) if they ever been in bed , had a bit if trouble sleeping hear the owls n' coyotes out singing and just decided to go sit on the porch in their pj's for abit and just listen. Told em there was something about it I can't explain. Once your eyes adjust you can see the possums or other critters lingering around , bats flying ,hear all the crickets and what not. Said it's just nice I reckon...feels like it's good for something don't know what though, puts the mind a ease regardless.

What about ammo availability over there ? The. 243 is and established calibers for yall with a really good range in bullets. There alot of guys who take it out to 1000 target shooting pretty frequently. -

Honestly for over there if I where to have to have a 6.5 I'd definitely pic the 6.5 grendel. But that's from a hand loading perspective -
For something more less right out the box don't think you can really go wrong with Tikka.

Honestly if it you can roll your own ammo you really don't need a top class rifle to start out. Can't say the same about glass though. But (and I'm not sure about how it is for y'all ) you can get some pretty nice optics now days that 10years ago would have cost you $1500 for less then $500 . Arken Athlon Primary arms SWFA (SS) All have great units under $400 and they all have amazing track record to date. As far as a rifle, Mossberg Patriots are like $300 here all day. Again not sure about y'all. But my .243 only needed two days worth of load development to get

Hay y'all I'm still alive lol. Got down to a Cat 2 by the time it hit me, really no real bad damage, lots of limbs and smaller trees down around me but that's about it's little to no rain for a hurricane honestly. Spent the last ten hours at work selling generators. Had people driving 3hours one way to buy one then wait in line for a hour to get it. Had a few folks try to fight over extension cords ect. Other than power being out where all good. Much better prepared compared to Katrina. It's much less damage than Katrina but still folks down south still had a crap load of damag

No rain here yet , gusts are getting heavier and heavier and lost power bout a hour ago. The eye is supposed to pass over or pretty close to me, she's down to a cat three though thank the good Lord. Buddy down I Houma posted pictures and videos, it's bad but everyone was better prepared compare to Katrina. All of New Orleans is completely without power,the hospital is missing part of it's roof, Cajun Navy is already out working I think. That and we got hundreds of linemen coming from all over the place to help get power up again and most of my friends still in in the guard are saying they all
