But stumbled up on the article one the carp side of pay lakes and idk fought some here would enjoy the read....or wanna vex lyrically for a while about how bad we are when it comes to carp over here but either or ?? I screenshot the mean deal but there a lot of little extras you have to click on so if you want that here the link. Other wise hope someone finds this as interesting as I did. Lots of stuff s

Came across this picture from last year in the phone brought back a memory Had gotten bored some time last year and decided to see if I could snare barn rats. They where getting to be kind of irritating past where we usually care. After a week of wooden rat traps in pine boxes ( kept the dogs out and cows from stepping on them) and thinning them out some seemed they just had no desire to go near bait. 110's 120's and 5x5's just ...egh put some trail cams on them and well. That's a subject for a different discussion. Just know there was a lot of frustration. So figured let's go with snares

Well looking at getting the GF a little savage mark ii ( their in sale for $140 so thing right now so might as well)so she can stop stealing mine? looking at maybe getting a Bushnell rimfire scope to try on it since it's supposed to have good tracking turrets and it's under $200 but no sure yet. Most of my rimfires wear some cheap $50 3-9 but figured I get her something nice so she can't have an excuse when I put shoot her ?? Anyway was shopping around and got curious just curious what eveyones favorite rimfire glass ?

Played around with it's the other day.Had a bunch of cast .225 bullets still lying around and I'm not doing any 100yd testing with them for a while. Saw some fox squirrels running around the yard and figured it would be fun to try and make a low velocity deal I could shoot out my .223 H&R Ultra varmint at short range and not have to worry about crazy over penetration and the like. Basically a .22lr replacement if I ever run out again or need something with a little bit more punch. Honestly it would probably make more sense to actually play with that .22hl hornet I bought last year and have

Racoons fur in general has been at a all time low fro the last few years honestly. South fur is always pretty bad on price though . We had good color just not the full ess of north fur or the sheen of western. Went to the fur sale for my state this year and my buddy managed to get $6 a pice for the 40somthing he brought. But hats a really really high price for us. Most of the coon where for $1-$3 tops. He had some of th best put up and fur handling of anyone there so that had something to do with it. A few years ago alot of my friends in the Midwest and up north where averaging $20-25 a pop a

Never will I understand some dogs. Been 100 degrees ( 37 f) with 100% humidity here every day for the last two months. Figured I'd be nice and let all the dogs in the house and let them cool off during the heat of the day and soak up the A/C while I sleep and let them out when I leave for work at night. Well two of them will come in look around then start scraping at the door to be let out within ten minutes. Figured my collie mix would really appreciate it since she's covered in fur but nope. Ten minutes and her and the other outside dog are out the door. My chawinnie and fiest are both hous

Anyone elese happen to do stuff on the side as a little business? Personally I weld Various things like these rod holders , snare supports, trapping drags ,various gardening things ect.and sell them over Facebook and the like. More money in building stuff like bull gates and the like but those are kinda in frequent. Also pick up and resale brass or shit shell hulls from the local range to other reloaders in various forums. Can make some decent pocket money when the richer folks come around and blow 100rd of norma or Lapua and just leave the brass in the dirt ? got two five gal

Was cleaning the gun room and found this just now. Easy little mod for you guys wanting some spikes on your bipod feet for whatever reason. Just order some archery field points ( think I paid like $5 for a 10 pack) pop the roll pin out that holds the rubber foot on to the bipod leg and drill a small hole in it. Shove the screw in part of your field tip in the hole ( you make need to trim it down a little ) and put some five minute epoxy in and around the tip. Once dried just re attach to you bipod legs with the roll pin. Way cheaper then the custom made ones and pretty effective if you like th

These guys helped me some. You will get a poi t if impact shift however from shooting off of a hard surface especially if your mainly used to shooting off of a soft surface where you can dig your bipods feet in. Main thing that haled me was to pop my bipods leg out longer and give it more of a medium load instead of a really hard one.

I collect and convert old outdoor videos as a hobby. Make clips sometimes and post them so they don't die completely. Anyhow here's a clip from a coyote calling video I have. Figured some of y'all would enjoy it.
