Honestly any water turtle is a pain unless you have a good bit of room and like building stuff . I've had snapping turtles , red rear sliders and stink pots and if you have room to have something like a kiddy pool and make a bio filter along with a sunning rock they can be pretty enjoyable but honestly I feel anything like a little 20gal fish tank is just not very good. Also the small stuff end up stinking to high heaven without a really good filter If he wants a reptile that easy to take care of leopard gecko's are a good choice. Would have one or two but my place is too drafty.

I like learning old skills honestly. Been building all sorts of nets for a while now , started when I was like 13 and I'm 24 now and I build hoops ,gill , and wire nets mainly for my own fun but like trying to learn other stuff. Honestly stared by learning how but make purse nets from a few UK guys back when I first discovered you tube. Just wire nets I put together from time to time The math becomes a pain at times but there something magical about it I absolutely love. If only peoel who see me do it would stop asking if I could knit a blanket or a hat ?

So little update, it's coming along slowly but surely. Got the rifle length gas system and new hand gaurd in the other day and was finally able to put it together last night. Spent probably 30min trying to get the barrel nut timed properly so I could feed the gas tube though but other then that pretty easy process . Hand gaurd looks a little much but it actually about perfect due to how long the hand gaurd is. Mabye a 22" barrel would make it look a little less off but egh ? Now I'm just stuck trying to figure out what I want to do for a muzzle device. Part of me just wants to run a -
Honestly unless your running a VPN or a Tor browser a basic "private" tab dosen't do anything if someone really wants to know.

Any you guys happen to have any videos from y'all's way in building traditional lobster pots fykes and the like. Remember when I first learned the basics of net making I had found a video of old guy from the UK showing how he makes lobster posts from scratch. Could never get is method.. anyhow anyone made a video on howe they where made from scratch? If so link please

I mean if people would stop letting screens and phones and tables do all the parenting ... Like when your kid can look up YouTube videos by 6 it's not going to be long till they go "hay ! Wonder if I can see boobies". I mean honestly you can just lock most of it off of your kids devices with a simple nanny app and stuff but most parents will use the excuse of being tech illiterate instead of taking some responsibility till it's too late and little Billy is a porn addict.

New welder paying for it's self . Got off work and got a call someones disc's main support snapped in half. Big gap couldn't really close it so ran a hot root , filler and a heavy cap. Shitty looking honestly but the owner was really happy so guess I can't complain. Really gotta go to the metal supply in the morning to see if I can get some scrap plate to back it all up though , but all in all the welder is great ,I need to practice my uphill more though. Suprised how well I did with over head , was never good at it in school ? now if I can only weld a straight line ?

Was out the other night looking around for hogs . Something had been telling me to set my NV up on my .22lr again but seems every time I do that I walk up in something alot bigger then what it's good for or I can't get close enough, so kept it on my 7.62x39 as always. Well get up on top of a hill over looking a paster had to turn on my head light to check something. Something tells me to look up and I see eye shine in a tree. Scope in and sure enough , two reasons I should have set up with my .22lr , gotta love it ?
