  1. I got tons of resources on how we trap them in the us . Ill be more than happy to post s many as i can if youd like bud.
  2. Jesus i read all the comments and yall are just great
  3. So feild sports posted this and the comments confused me. Is a straight pull bolt action with some tac rails still viewed as an Assult rifle ( even though a actual assult rifle and a AR-15 are two separate deals ). Alot if negetive comments i see with this whuch dont make much sense. 1. Its a bolt action rifle. 2.its only a .223 which from my understanding is a popular cartridge over there. 3.its using the same NV alot of foxers use. So is the problem the fact it looks scary or somthing ?
  4. So funny story from the other day. I live on campus at my collage and since we have a rather nice sized lake i frequently go out and do some fishing before class ( i take night weleding 3-10 so i have a good bit of time in the mornings. Well its sunday evening and noone really on campus and i was free that night ,so i figure id go out ,set up on one of the park benches all around the lake and try some night fishing. So i get my lil tackle bag crappie rod and the meger two 6' medium action rods ( just some $29.99 Walmart spinning rods good enough for catfish) and go set up on a bench a few y

Figure we could all laugh at this ??
  6. Yous serious ?! Your lucky to find one under $200 inn y part of the world unless the seller dissent know Jack about weapon trends
  7. Just about every state with them has year round open season on them. In Texas it's common practice to shoot them out of helicopters with Saiga 12 'a ( baisically an AK-47 but a 12ga ) loaded with buck shot, there was one where they were using A SAW ( 5.56 belt get squad automatic weapon,) like that's how bad it is in some areas,on the up side all of the meat from these hints for to feed the hungry. It's funny though that a lot of folks trap them and release them so they have more to hunt (mainly dog hunters). For most of us their just another game animal. .... that we kill with extreme prej
  8. Ooook your point being ? Is a semiauto .223 lotta weapons I can do the same stuff with very easily and most are considers sporting rifles. Anyhow are their any rifle companies based on the UK ? Seem like y'all have to import everything
  9. Wait wait wait you were talking about assult rifles and this guy used a pistol.... Buddy imma be 100% honest here with you. There's so many weapons in the U.S. and it's apart of our culture so much you can make as many laws as you want but it ain't gonna help. Look at California . Toughest gun laws in the nation and yet in most place you can go to the crummy part of town and get a full auto AK with a drum mag if you want. Crimminals simply don't care. It's that simple. It's just how it is over here sorry. And most of these crimes are in places with laws that should prevevt stuff from h
  10. Assault rifles ?? Ok I think we have a mix understand here. By millitary surplus in mean older weapons that have been phased out for millitary service. Common examples being mosin nagants,Swiss k31's German mausers, ect. Trust me I cannot just go into my local pawn shop and buy a legit assult rifle. All the paper work and crap is a pain and to be honest it's easiser to buy one illegally. But any how its pretty common to buy an old milsurp rifle ( the Russian mosins are real popular right now , used to be able to buy a crate of them for $1200 but prices soared recently ) restock and spor
  11. Well for us best on powder ! It's like $118 for a large jug
  12. Interesting . So are they no low cost firearm manufactures in the UK ? Are military surplus sporter builds an option ?
  13. So hope y'all DONT mind entertaining me again but I have a question on gun buying across the pond. I was on YouTube and was watching Fieldsports new video which was titled something like " What you get with a cheap rifle ". Any how the fella was shooting some rather high class (least for my tastes lol ) rifles then he goes to the bench and starts reviewing a Ruger American bolt action. Now on of the first things he says is how's its a fairly cheap rifle at 600 pounds. My first question being ,are all rifles over your way that expensive ? I was kind of blow away because I saw the same rifle
  14. Well according to the liberals.... seems my AR with a 30rd mag is much less of a pain, but hay who am I ?! And where is one supposed to get a powered wig and stair mounted cannon this day and age ?!
  15. So I always hear that the best dogs are pure bred, or high quality . But almost every dog I've ever owned was a mutt or a rescue, and they seem to hunt or trail just as well as any other dog head to head. So is the pure bread thing really that big of a deal ? As far as a general dog.
  16. Wish we had as many rabbits as y'all do though
  17. Just about ever other hunter in my parts bow hunts. I'll tell you with these new compounds and the high tech sights you can nail a deer at 50yd no problem. I've been meaning to get into it but $$$$. Wanna get a recurve though instead of a compound . Seems habit more challinging .
  18. Im getting deja vu, have you posted that pic already? yeah posted that a while ago back on the trapping forum
  19. No pics of the dogs they had that day but I can find some of what most dog hunters use
  20. End result of a knife and dog hunt a few months ago
  21. I take it you mean with dogs ? yeah that's a state thing. completely legal to do in my state for a certain amount of time. folks used to do it all the time. Rabbit dogs are still extremal popular , then you also have hog dogs, squirrel dogs coon hounds, and the coyote dogs to a lesser extent Ah,I thought it was illegal pretty much everywhere over there. Good to hear it's still legal in some states, nothing imo compares to a lurcher running a deer across open land. yeah state laws can lead to so screw ups when you start state hopping ! as far as deer dogs, most pople who do it a
