  1. Tired that trick and no luck. The base can really only be set one way with out me taking out the saw and trimming it so that's not an option either. And I'm not 100% sure what you mean on the last part. Other than the screw that connects the for arm to the barrel it's basically free floating. The new scope and rings should be here tomorrow so hopefully that will solve it.
  2. Happens here all the time don't see why it woulnt over there. Talk to about anyone who's had some tame sows where wild hogs where and they will twll you those boars will do some stuff to get to them.
  3. Well hogs really originally came from the Spaniards from Florida. Apparently the winters up north where too rough for them really establish. So we have alwayly really had them the problem started when sport hunters started to purposely spread them. I know in a few states wealthy hunters had pure Russian hogs imported for high fenced hunting they ended up escaping and thriving. And with the popularity of being able to hunt them alot of people are illegally stocking them on their property so they have their own pools to hunt but of course they move .It's so bad it's actually a felony in
  4. They definelty can be fine table fare If you know what your doing. Sows and younger ones under the 100 lbs (think thats like 45kg )mark are the main eaters mainly because they don't have the musk, testrone, general toughness of the meat and not to mention that God forsaken shield the big boars have. The shield by the way is a tuck layer of cartilage and muscle around the shoulders, that along with the layers of mud and pine sap it become basically like a armor plate that will deflect smaller bullets or slow them down to the point they don't really effect them. I've skinned out bigboars and have
  5. And sorry for all the typos it's a pain trying to work with this phones auto correct
  6. Hmmmm not to be rude but don't think you guys understand the purpose of these rods. Now these type of rids here are used specifically on boats for what's know as spider rigging. For crappie. Here's a picture if a standard spider rigging rig. In spider rigging you don't cast the rod or really fight the fish lol (like I explained in the video) . Crappie don't generally fight super hard they kinda just get flipped in the boat. Originally people just used can poles but you can't really adjust depth effectively with a cane pole. Those little reels are really only there for holdin
  7. KimE here a can of what i like using Has worded on all my guns I've painted to far not sure if you can get it out there though
  8. Again I was saying its not currently a MIL spec cartridge out side if SOCOM and similar.
  9. Actually I've been casting with it with a micro spinner reel. Works pretty good but again like unsaid we don't use them for that
  10. Lol yeah I'm a little long winded my bad ?? but didn't know if they had a special term or somthing other than a telescoping rod, well in particular this style where you can't really cast it with the reel it has. Figured it my have been some sub class of cenerpin mabye lol
  11. Hmmm makes sense when you bring SF into it. Actually I think that some of our their one assets still us it in the honey badger rig it not sure ? O and as far as paint it was just some flat rustoluem brand. Krylon works too but always seems a bit to shiny imo
  12. O you talking about full lead tacos videos ! Yeah he does some cool stuff. Actually got my casting stuff just waiting to actually start lol. Is scrap lead easy to come by in your neck if the woods ?
  13. I know alot of you guys like seeing how we handle hog control over here so I figured I'd post this.
  14. Made this video a little while back a d don't think I've ever posted it here. Anyhow I've seen this kinda rod used in the UK and other parts of Europe but never have seen an actual name put to it. Their basically the same thing from what I've seen whe just use them differently. Anyhow was curious, what are they actually called over there ?
  15. Beautiful! Had no idea bergara made a single shot
  16. Actually. The .300 black isn't a milspc round. It's the some if the .300 whisper which was a experimental round for SOCOM but it's gain the bulk of its popularity in the shooting and hinting community. For under 150 yd work this one if the most loved rounds currently espically for reloaders since you can make your own brass from .223/5.56 which is basically worthless to many . It's become of of THE rounds for hogs espically suppressed and with NV / thermal. Youth hunters also love it. Know a few guys who've built their daughters AR pistols in.300blk and they taken lots of deer and hogs.
  17. Was hoping you guys where going to be chatty about the elections, certainly didn't disappoint lol. Can't blame y'all though it a cluster f**k if I ever did see one.
  18. Thank you ! Gonna try to do some casting soon so I stocked up while I had the money lol
  19. Dug my old .22lr single shot out and decided I'd give it a new life as a target /pest rifle. Doing a little video series on my progress
  20. They are nice! Wish I like them as much as I did when I was younger and they where plentiful. A few years ago you could walk into almost any half decent pawn shop and was out with one and two extra barrels for $500 ! Now your paying that for just the barrels
  21. Yes I love the heavy contour! Wish it was a but longer but for what I paid I can't complain too much lol. And I just got off the phone with the company I order my reloading supplies from and had them add a can of lil gun to my order . Now I just need to stalk some forums to get some brass and dies lol. And yes yes I know but my truck front main seal is going out, the A/C dosent work that well and my car gets 48mi to the gallon so can you blame me? ??
