  1. I think we have a smaller sub species in the northern parts of the state but as far as he large white stergon no I don't think so that's more of a north ern US and Canada type thing lol
  2. I wish lol. Would love to catch even a small gator gar butt The only ones we have are the spotted one. Wouldn't mind catching one of them either but they never seem interested. And for those curious these are gar The top being the gator gar he was talking to ( and that's a smaller one ) And the bottom is average spotted gar that I have
  3. Which ones in perticular? I don't personally but know about if folks who love snappers and softshells. The sliders get a free pass with about eveyone though

  5. I think it was around 380-450lbs I'd have to ask. Apparently it ran up on them while they where trading dogs at night,he's and dang crack shot with that sign in his side lol

  9. 1800 ?! Christ we sell one here that comes with a Bluetooth heat controller and auto feed here for like $700, hell for that much you could probably buy some shee metal and weld you one up yourself
  10. Depends on how much food is in the area , if they can eat alot and not have to work real hard they can get lager than that pretty quick

  14. I've only ever fired them out of a standard issue M4 carbine so can't tell you how well in a traditional sense but with iorn sights I can get 3 rounds touching at 25m consistently. If I do my part. And can easily hit a EPSIC at 300m. Not super hard to do but anyhow. As far as terminal performance these are not made for late wound channels like a normal hunting bullet as many of you fellas know. Not something I'd use on medium game and up unless I'm head shooting like a see many of you across the pond do. Honestly if you can put it in their ear ......
  15. No we actually switched about two years ago. Copper with steel core penetrator.ill have to check but think I have some at house I could show
  16. On a side note ,in the bullet casting community over here there alot if guys that have been messing with using using zinc for casting as an alternative for lead. Also one or two state has moved to lead free ammo and I hear from California alot of hunters are loving the Barnes lead free bullets along with Leigh Defense and cutting edge but the $$$

  18. What ever shoots good enough in my gun to put it behind their ear is what I use.
