    a lot of the hounds in the photos are the limerick county fox hounds,hunted then by hugh robards m.f.h,and also the scarteen black and tans hunted and owned by the ryan famaily.

    are u up in northern ireland if so ,i was a big fan of sambo macnaughton and ultan macfetterage when they were hurling.did u play a bit yourself miga.

    my grandfather marked christy many times and they both played side by side on raiwaycup teams, i often heard him say that he was the greatest of all, the bould christy ring.would loved to have seen him hurl in the flesh.

    i remember once when we were struggling for numbers for a hurling match on a sunday in the 80s,we called into our local and brought 2 lads on with us who togged out in the forward line, the lads were well butted but fair play they didnt let us down.

    fury is an embarrassment too boxing.the way he conducts him self inside and outside of the sport ,what i cant figure out is that he keeps saying that he is a real fighting man but when you look at him box he is on the back ft for most of the time.but i reckon its a traveller thing to be mouthing off stuff like im a real fighting man.
