We've got the thread about the GB squad under achieving, so what's others opinions about the Chinese swimmer who found 5 seconds on her previous personal best and did the last 50 metres of the swim in her event faster than the men did. Something not right there, 1/4 second or 1/2 second improvement maybe but 5 f*****g seconds !

I,d disagree there mate about the lions, my cousin does all the rugby tours as he,s a sports photographer, been on many Scottish, English, Lions tours and reckons the Lions at the moment are very poor by previous standards, New Zealand and South Africa would be better than us at the moment, my opinion not his

Don,t know about leading the world but I reckon they are better than GB at swimming, rugby union , rugby league, maybe volleyball, netball, tennis, hockey,water polo, motorbike racing, there may be more and of course we are better than then at various other sports .

I have a cousin who is married to a soldier who has been all over the place on tours of duty, at the moment they are based in Germany and although she hated it at first she is now the first to admit that loneliness aside she loves being married to a squad die. Listening to her I think that interacting with the other wives plays a huge part in adapting to the way of life, as in "we're all in this together". To be honest I would have thought she would have been the last person attracted to army life but as I say she loves it, I genuinely hope your daughter does too. Best of luck to your daught

its strange that you have these great boxer khan included with great skills an they get ko,d and the other side of the coin you get the bulls with little in the way of skills absorb punches ,,,,i remember watching a fighter called tex cobb in the 80s dont think he had any skills but he had a heart like a lion Marvis Frazier a great fighter ?
