    Slightly off topic and apologies for that but as Fat Ferret says was a great feeling when your magazine of choice arrived in the mail, I mind when I used to get the SDJ sent to me in Oz I was like a dog with two dicks for a couple of days....my old dad used to say FFS it's only a book about dogs lol, God rest him.

    Lads she failed her final exam by 1% on four occasions since 2013. Now do the math and tell me what the chances of failing by 1% on four different occasions in four different exams is ? I will freely admit I said to her Don,t put yourself through this , but she banged on. I actually got her to phone the examining board and ask them seeing as they were supposed to be so good with figures what the chances would be of someone failing by that 1% on numerous occasions, Mrs Greengrass being who she is said I'll just have to re-sit it, so she did...again and again.     Thanks fellas, it is an old adage but when we were talking earlier it was mentioned that if you want something, really want to prove yourself then virtually nothing is impossible, set your mind on it and keep on banging away and you will get there in the end.

    After many years of studying my wife got her exam result today for the final part of her becoming a chartered accountant, so what some may say ...but to put it in context ( spelling ) she left school at 14 so obviously no qualifications, has met me many years later raised our two boys brilliantly even when I was,not around for a quite considerable amount of time, got herself a full time job which she has held down throughout studying , and generally punched above her weight for the past few years. Really proud of her today guys just thought I would share my thoughts. Thanks for reading

    Yes get on it....and as Rake Abootsays there is something most relaxing about chewing on a pipe , contemplating life and wondering where next week, month , year is going to take you. Smoking a pipe involves a lot of thought, which may be the reason I only reach for mine every 6-8 weeks

    Yes he's loud and gobby but he's also entertaining , and so far he backed up what he says in the ring. Personally I'd like him to win , he has gone over there and talked the talk now let's hope he can walk the walk. I ,lol be up around 5ish but won't be paying for it I'll watch it on Mobdro.

    Gnasher I could nt agree more , I bet against fury ( just a small bet ) I did,nt think he would last the distance, but you win some you lose some ffs that's what punting is all about. When one of those big coloured chaps from the ghettos of New York, Chicago, or Los Angeles get a hold of him I,lol bet against him again .......and win.

    Working with a bloke that used to be a van assistant ( I am a driver ) vocal as anything it was all anti company blah blah blah , find out as we re leaving work today that he has been promoted to our boss !!! Now if you met this fella you would call him Billy no mates straight away horrible horrible little man with the wee man syndrome ripping out of him .     I pay £1 a kilo direct from a local butcher, it's not guaranteed what you'll get in the bag but the dogs seem to love it, stools are good so it'll do me.
