He is so cute

How would you get him around the ferrets safely? We have let them in the garden together and he tries to kill them. He has gone for one and mauled one so we haven't let him out with them since. I think the ferrets are also wary of him as they hiss at him! He's a bugger!!!

Thanks terryd you're dog looks like a lovely one :-) Took him out yesterday on a park near ours with lots of distractions (just to get him out) he tried to pull on the lead to get to them but with a few light tugs back he walked by my side although i didn't feel confident enough to let him off! I think he thinks when we let him off "see you later". Nightmare. People have advised us to go to training classes but he is so disobedient we just don't know what to do! I hope we haven't ruined him. Also worked him last night, he had a really good chase and nearly caught a rabbit just stumble

Thankyou Taxi Driver he is very keen but it becomes frustrating when he doesn't listen !! I suppose it will be worth it in the end :-)

I have a one year old whippet he's literally just turned 12 months. He has selective hearing!! I have an extendable lead and when he is on that he is brilliant he comes back on recall for a treat and it's all fine. When I let him off he will not come back, he will not listen at all he runs off to other dogs and hounds other dog walkers he sometimes runs out of site and near roads it's quite scary so I have stopped letting him off. Can anyway tell me any training methods??? I work him as well and he doesn't like the ferrets and I think he's getting confused as were telling him not to go for the
