  1. I really rate these pellets. I've been trying them in a .22 TX that I've been tinkering with. Shooting rested, they're bang on. I tried some standing shots with them yesterday - I still need a lot of practice but, I was fairly happy with the progress
  2. I've had a count and, I've got more .25 pellets than I thought I had...... H&N FTT 19.91gr. Almost full tin of 200. H&N Baracuda Hunter Extreme 28.40gr. Almost full tin of 200. JSB Exact King 25.39gr. 3 sealed tins of 350 and 1 tin with about 40 left. JSB Exact King Heavy 33.95gr. 3 sealed of 300 and 1 almost full tin. As mentioned above, I'm happy to swap for the following..... Falcon Accuracy Plus in .177 or .22 JSB Exact RS in .177 or .22 JSB Exact Heavy in .177 only JSB Polymag in .22 JSB Polymag short in .177
  3. Thanks for the welcomes. Wiltshire's a nice place. We moved here from Reading just after our daughter was born. It was a good move. Swindon is fairly central and, close to some very nice countryside. I wasn't going to subject my daughter to my old estate in her formative years.
  4. I had a .25 r3m Matador for a few months, I've just sold it back to the original owner. They're very good. Solidly built and accurate. It was a lot of fun to use for short range work (I don't have an fac). The bolt cycled nicely, the trigger, although not as refined as some, was good. There is storage for 4 mags under the weaver rail. It never let me down. However, I think the true potential of that rifle is to have it running at around 45ftlb. Then, I imagine it would be a very good hunting tool.
  5. Hi Rabid, I have some different .25 pellets that I'd be happy to swap. I'll try to sort a proper list out if you're interested. From memory, I have JSB, JSB Heavy and H&N Baracuda Hunter Extreme. I'd be looking for either Falcon Accuracy Plus .22, JSB RS .22, JSB Heavy .22 or, Polymag .22 or, Polymag short .177.
  6. Cheers Simon. She's been shooting for almost a year and, she's really enjoying it. She uses a BSA Goldstar. She got her first rabbit last summer. A nice clean shot at around 35yrds with NV. She was so prud of her self. She watched me clean and prepare it and she helped cook it. Half term started on friday. She's been doing well with targets. I'll try to take her out for a couple of nights ambushing this week.
  7. Hi all. I've just joined the forum. Interesting post. Like a lot of others, I like to be out in the fresh air, walking my permissions and watching them slowly change. I like watching and learning whatever I'm stalking. I'm no pro, just an enthusiast. I hunt for the pot. My daughter likes to come along (when shes not at school), she learns to be patient and, to treat what we hunt with respect. She also learns that her food isn't born in Tesco.
  8. Well, I thought it would be good manners to make my first post an introduction..... My name's Jon. I'm on a couple of other forums with the same user name. I've been living in Swindon for around 10 years. I returned to airguns just over a year ago. I've never been into target shooting - I like to hunt, day or night. As long as I'm out in the fresh air. Thanks for having me.
