  1. Good rifles Byron I think the laminate stock is a little heavier than regular wood but, not by much. It's a nice looking thing and, the adjustable butt pad and cheek piece is useful - mine served me well. I can't think of any negatives for it - I fitted an A&M cylinder to mine. It reduced the weight and increased the shot count from 4 mags to 6. ......... it was always an accurate, reliable rifle
  2. Meat-free spicy meatballs. It's not something that I'd usually get but, little 'un wanted to try them. To be fair, they were pretty good
  3. Goose eggs are nice - big ol' yolks but, less flavour than duck eggs.
  4. I love these rifles - the first one that you both worked on has sparked an interest. That first .22 is fantastic - I've finally managed to get a .177 to pair with it I'm over the moon with these old air guns - they're such a well made, basic but usable thing. The single action trigger is good with the the straight pull stock - it takes some work but, a good shot is very satisfying.
  5. JSB Heavies are a good starting point in most PCP rifles ??
  6. Goes down nicely with some ice but, I've got no idea what a single measure looks like nowadays
  7. We stayed in a hotel that had a Beefeater attached - it was ok for the first couple of days but I had to get out and have something different eventually.
  8. I know what you mean mate - that food looks nice enough but, my guts were wrecked after eating out for 2 weeks when I was away training.

  10. Holidays will be better to those countries aswell. The people will be nicer than the frogs, krauts, wops, spiks and degos aswell Rule Brittania you pricks ??
  11. There you go - the UK happy to go for a free trade agreement. You know - just like we did with Europe before they wanted to go all 4th fucken reich on us. We don't need those scumbags. There's nothing wrong with the deals and imports - it's just scare mongering by the bitter mob. Britain to join Indo-Pacific trade bloc in biggest trade deal since Brexit WWW.CNBC.COM The U.K. said this was the country's largest post-Brexit trade deal and makes it the first European nation...
  12. I like that barge idea - cram it full of them and, float the fkn thing back to France.
  13. Night shift again............ A cheeky cuppa and a breakfast baguette from the girls at Maccas cafe I just know that dog is going to tuck in next to me when I shut my eyes on the sofa........ give her half an hour, she'll be barking and kicking in her feckin sleep
  14. Result mate ?? I remember mullering a house gas pipe on one of dad's jobs in early 2000s - that cost him £800 to have sorted. .......... he went mental at the time - we had a massive row. I'm going to show the old f****r this thread ?

  18. The start and end of my day - it was a 1am start and, it got down to -1 degree for a while.
  19. What quarry are you in mate? ........ I know we briefly chatted about it before but, that was a while ago now.
  20. I got my Easter shopping done for next weekend
  21. If that was my mate, I'd take him for a full English and a big mug of tea before we get on the boat then, I'd hand him an opened can of Guinness as soon as we get there and, I'd keep bobbing and swaying at my knees to make it look worse while we're on the boat. Then I'd take pictures of him being sick while we're out
  22. That'll be exactly how they catch it mate. You just need to chat with your lad about being careful at the right time ?? It's a different world now - a lot of them don't just go out and talk to folk nowadays - they chat on line before they meet up. That Internet has a lot to answer for with the ideas about relationships that it puts into some of their heads. In my late teens in the late 90s, I was like a dog with 2 dicks. There was no Internet but, I'd be training all week and out all weekend. I met all sorts of birds - I'm sure a lot of fellas at my age could share simi
