cheers frank did some ferreting why we were there .but it was getting on in the day we put the long net around two sets and we caught 15 ,it was late in the day so we could not do anymore , but we will be back and it is only 25 mile away

farmer i no give me a number for a woman who wanted some rabbiting done .so phoned and arranged to meet her at her farm,plenty of rabbits about as we drove down the track ,anway she asked us if we could do some long netting so i said ok ,i asked her if it was alright to do abit of lamping with dogs and she said .as long as i get rid of rabbits she dont care ,she also has 2 more farms to do just round the corner .

took the dogs and the ferrets out yesterday for a few hours .we did a set on a river bank ,were the rabbits had done alot of damage was suprised how many bucks we caught out of one set not many does and no young ones ,

I'd agree with that mate. I took my pup ferreting/mooching a few times, and the first time I took him out on the lamp and showed him a rabbit in the beam, he ran off in the opposite direction with his fecking nose to the ground! Unorthodox maybe, but I picked him up for the second one, and made sure it was his eyes he was using. It worked, because he caught it! cheers
