Tonight she’s on a new recipe you cook a tray of chips put the chicken tikka on top of the chips put it all back in the oven then put a curry sauce over it when it comes out and load on the cheese it’s like loaded chips with chicken tikka masala

Inside info mate it’s not an application type thing an old mate is the head pesty and needs a hand a couple days a week so just put it out through mates and I think I the only one that’s stepped up so I’m just waiting for the call

I’ll probably need more than 9” barrels on my shotgun and a ticket as well lol but I,ll cross all those bridges once I get me foot in the door I would imaging what ever needs shooting is all covered by appropriate tickets as it’s an on going thing to stop them getting sucked in the planes it’s all new to me mate but the only things guaranteed to fail are the ones you don’t try so let’s kick the can and see were it goes

Thought I’d re open this as my own trip to stourport last year to paint the boat and get a survey done was cancelled due to low water so this morning I’ve re booked the dry dock and am in there on Monday 25th may for 7 days probably leave on the Friday before and spend a few days travelling up hopefully lots more pics

Was chatting to someone I know yesterday and he asked me if I was still looking for a little couple of days a week job as I get a bit bored and the beer tokens come in handy so I says yes what’s going on to which he reply’s that a guy we both know is looking for someone two days a week shooting birds on the runway of an raf base on the Cotswolds so I’ve put my name in the hat but think it’s mine there is several lakes on site strictly no fishing but containing carp over 40lb never fished for so if all goes well it will be two 12 hour days shooting and I’ll stay overnight in the van and fish th

See a few red kites up there on the thermals in the summer nice all the way along the top road to Stroud I travel it a bit love it spotting deer and hares while the misses screams at me to watch the road lol -

Went out last Friday to set some cameras ,when I got back I was missing a dog lead and not my normal length of blue nylon cord but a nice one my daughter had made for me colours picked by my granddaughter by a bloke that makes fenders on the canal so as it was a lovely morning thought I would retrace my route and at the furthest point from the motor there it was on a gate I had fell over last week lol dog loved rolling around in the frost and got a good walk out of it -
