You can freeze milk, it was normal when I was a youngster and everything shut for a fortnight at Christmas

Turkey,beef and a ham with all the trimmings, we are,nt fans of seeing people alone on Christmas so generally have a house full of wafe,s and strays, were upto around a dozen for dinner and a few more in the afternoon, same again on Boxing Day with bubble and squeak,cold meats and pickles followed by a 2ft square of tiramisu for pudding and 25ltrs of scrumps to wash it down

There,s a butchers near portishead that sells it, if your ever this side the river, or use mutton like the Jamaicans do when they can't get goat, low and slow is the way to go when your cooking it, luckily for me a jamacan called rice and things which featured on Jamie Oliver is just up the road from me and he,s meant to be one of the best in the land so it is cheaper and easier to just buy it ready made which I do at least once a month

I eat it all he time and love it but don't call it goat curry, it's curry goat they get offended, also lots of people use mutton so you don't always get goat meat, I,m fortunate that I have a lot of Jamaicans near me so have ate it for years I also prefer it with the bones in as a lot now remove them to make it more appealing to westerners but it should contain bones an all

Hard to keep house coal in all night burns a bit quick, as it's his main source of heat and hot water he does need the ovals that are a bit more expensive but I still get taybright for £9 a 20kbag that stays in all night when it's really cold and just throw the scaffold planks in all day surprising how prices vary over the country

Were the feck do you pay £20 for a bag of coal? I have two woodburner,s very rarely buy anything but never more than a tenner if I need an odd bag, my lads have a scaffolding firm and most of my wood is the split ends off the planks, burns nice and slow and no need to season suplimented with the odd fallen tree I happen upon, surely at that money it's cheaper putting the heating on I have woodburner,s because it's free heat

Garden Peat is 95percent water by weight most of which has to be removed before it's a fuel so what was originally said is correct you can't burn a bag of garden centre peat on a fire that's why the bricks are dug and dried you can also dry out and burn cows shit in much the same way

Me neither and will have to attempt to burn some garden peat just to confirm to myself, I thought it wold have to much moisture in and would go straight through the grate, I,m not surprised they are from the same source but thought the cutting and preparation process would make one good for the fire and one the garden ? Off to ask google

Would,nt say I,m nuts or a prepper just don't like what the modern world has become and think it's time the reset button was pushed, my survival bag is exactly that, I have gone a pisser twice in the last year smashing my ankle quite badly on one occasion and dislocating my shoulder and severing a tendon on another, so my survival bag comes with me everytime I go out alone, or I could sit in moaning and growing fat like many modern folk do, also think peat for the fire is cut in blocks and dried out , don't put John innes no3 potting compost in your fire it could get messy
