  1. I no it's barely January but in the last week out walking I have seen, two pair of great tits doing the pairing business and looking in every little hole for nest sites, one pair of blackbirds, saw a few daf,s and crocus the Hazel trees are covered in catkins and the sitting water in the ditch,s and puddles that have been high all winter are dropping an inch or more per day indicating the trees and plants are taking a bit on board, which all points to a very early spring or some very confused wildlife also about 20 mins of extra day light per day which is nice anyone else noticing any signs o
  2. I,ll see if I can find any other pictures but it may take a while as there a way back and I,m not that techie to keep it neat and tidy also have to pop out for a while soon
  3. The tip of its tail is poking out just outside your circle if you zoom a little
  4. Thanks Dave for the highlight, what you also have to realise is that the camera has been there for three years, so has taken hundreds or thousands of pics of that same path there are photos of deer, dogs fox and badger all on the same spot and none of them even slightly resemble a 4ft long cat, the fallen tree etc would have been there longer than the couple of seconds that black animal was , not conclusive proof but enough to wet the appetite for a further look
  5. I do know him have never asked what his credentials are but he has been collecting data and following up sightings for over 30years he puts his name forward to the papers as it gives people who have seen something and want to talk about it a point of contact, he like many of us was a normal countryman interested in dogs ferrets and birds of prey when he saw something he could,nt explain but new what he,d seen so set out to find out more, I don't think anyone is really qualified in the subject as its really a load of enthusiastic amateurs that through the Internet have learnt of others interest
  6. I,m starting to become annoying are you really for real, no one asked you to join in ,you clearly have no interest ,have contributed nothing so the best way to not be annoyed would be to f**k off else were surely
  7. Here,s another one same camera same place what do you recon, also I have seen these pictures go through a lot of comparison tests a leopards tail is very distinct and yes I think that's one
  8. The couple that got those pictures live within walking distance of the camera mate, the problem in India is a high population of leopards and a rapidly growing population of humans, if they can they will sneak off and avoid conflict, i think we are many years away from that kind of situation but sightings in and around urban areas are getting more frequent as time goes on, don't no if that's an increase in animal numbers or the fact we are slowly concreting over the whole land and the few we have are being pushed closer to urbanisation ? All part of the great mystery I just have two terriers
  9. Its the second time it's been caught on the same camera in the same place over a couple of years, more of the body and head showing last time, but when you super impose a leopard onto it ,it,s a pretty good match,
  10. There seems to be a bit of an agenda to push the mustelid population at the moment, first otters turned out everywhere, polecats seem to be popping up in places not seen for years, I caught 10 on trail cams last year, and the pine martin seems next on the agenda, trouble is most of them depend on rabbits which are in decline in many area,s , another worrying thing I notice is your mate seems to be a little girl ?
  11. What's big gay Dave to say about this ,I ,m sure there's a simple explanation,
  12. When I was a kid and new no better, we would take one egg from finch,s nest,s and run to the local canary blokes house he,d give us a couple of Bob and hatch them under the canary,s, bully,s and goldies being the most sought after, they would then ring them as captive bred birds when they hatched
  13. I know just how you must have felt mate no one believes me either . ?
  14. The French hog hunt most weekends in the rural parts, it's a village tradition I think it's lovely how the village all turn out for the hunt and then share out the meat, dogs just bay them and they get popped with a solid ball in a shotgun, Germans hunt them a lot with big bull types but they wear quite a lot of armour and have gps tracking on as well, sooner they get right out of hand sooner they will have to let us get at them with everything including dogs might be just what we need a few of bgd,s mates eaten by pigs to bring the world back to its senses
  15. I think a few are being deliberately moved around I have found signs of them in Leigh woods, which is really close to the city and full of people but would be hard for them to reach as it has motorways and rivers all around it, the farmer on one of my camera sites was called out over Christmas by the police as they,d had six reports of big black hairy pigs crossing the road near him, so I think they are being moved about, another possible and interesting thing about pigs is if you release a normal pink porker into the wild they slowly grow hair and tusks and revert to there natural state, lik
  16. I think there is some Royal Forest of Dean shit that stops residents hunting, someone else will fill you in on that but I do know of a few boys that have a few over there, another mate has just had his ticket changed so he can get a 303 as he,s getting more calls about pigs year on year and we are on the other side of the Severn,
  17. And your just showing your ignorance even more, you div
  18. He'll just ignore it mate as he does with anything that don't suit his agenda of being the biggest dick on thl, but that's the real deal and he would,nt know how to tell anyway so don't waste your time

I think the length has a big bearing as much as the diameter, I know a lad that has made a tiny woodburner from a section of square channel and it draws fine though a scaffold tube, the French use 3" flu,s on there big stoves which would be illegal here but they seem to work, it's just my lads have a pile of bent poles in the yard so thought I,d use that maybe I,ll double it up like a side by side shotgun if I need more draw on it ?
  20. I had a lad working for me a few year back big strong rugby playing type, he got rushed into hospital with a suspected heart attack he was only 26, turned out he had a slightly smaller valve or valves on one side of his heart and was caning the red bull, and his heart could,nt cope with the pressure luckily he was just having severe palpitations and when he stopped drinking the red bull the problem stopped but it was a bit scary at the time, I,ve never been able to drink any fizzy drink so not a problem maybe had less than ten in my life usually with vodka

Sweet, thanks for the info, be nice if someone in the uk started making them recon there would be a good demand,
  22. I listened to a program on radio 2 yesterday about how the army are wasting time and money by targeting minority groups as regular soldiers it was quite refreshing listening to people openly allowed to discuss the liberal shite that's brought us to the sorry state we are in, was also really reassuring to hear that some French model has started a campaign regarding wolf whistling and says she likes it and wants to encourage it as it's flattering, she has a lot of support in the early phase let's hope she keeps it up, it was even discussed by Ann widicome on big brother without being edited out,
  23. In all seriousness, it won't be me or someone like me that delivers the evidence to confirm there existence, as I have said before science will bring the final parts of the jigsaw together, photo,s are to easy to doctor and dismiss though if and when we do get a 100 percent pic it will be a good addition to the other stuff a dead body is also a very much sought after part of the puzzle, but it's the laboratory tests that are carried out on the carcasses of larger prey items that will make it impossible to dispute and that part of the puzzle is 90percent complete as we speak, when people mentio

    Harris hawk

Most wildlife seems to work in cycles, for some reason the number seven is quite strong as in every seven years certain species seem to peak and trough, and at the moment it seems the raptors time to shine, I saw my first ever goshawk in the wild last year and my first second third and so on red kite, also have at least half a dozen perigrine nesting sites within a ten mile radius of my home and there seems to be a buzzard on every other lamppost, a good population of top preditors is a good sign of a healthy environment so if there,s a niche for an extra bird of prey hopefully it's a sign thi
