yes it does have night vision, I have one that looks excactly the same but never came from aldi, only draw back with the one I have is it uses a micro sd card which is easily lost if you drop it when swapping them over, I put a white carrier bag on the floor before popping the card out so I can see it, they have a really wide angle of vision and can do video and photo on one sitting which is cool also have a pretty quick activation time as well the black and white pics on the box are what you get at night

should have just asked this one has appeared in the local press this week taken on the quantocks in Somerset, filmed on an iPhone, pretty cool
  4. then in that case ask dad if it's OK to private message me your address and I will get a small natural catty off to you in the post in the coming week, when you see how it's made hopefully you can start making some for yourself as you get bigger cheers
  5. agree completely, most of mine are presents from wife and kids proper shitter
  6. I,ve seen other people's trail cams out in places I've been, I was not meant to be there but I just gave it a thumbs up and walked on by because I leave upto seven of my own out and would hope people would do the same if they came across them, I also set my cameras so they are watching each other so as said above I hope your caught, bad karma and not really something to brag about online, p,s I also can't see a picture of what you found so hopefully we are wrong and I,m sorry
  7. well done to you Albie nice to see a young man with an interest in something not made by Apple, what hand do you use to hold your fork in and what size ammo are you using, it's a bit of a tough one because of your age, do you shoot with an adult have you got somewhere in your garden you shoot? The reason I ask is I would make you a small natty but I recon I,d need a note from your adult,
  8. if its for making knife handles and such like, pets at home sell antlers for dog chews they are not full antlers but cut into bits about 6/8" long if you rummage through them you can always find a few nice usable antler sections just right for handles, failing that just drive along the a38 between Gloucester and Bristol the amount of dead deer on the roadside is incredible
  9. when I was a young man we used to have an old bloke on a pushbike with a big stone wheel that dropped onto the bike wheel and the guy used to peddle like feck and sharpen people's knifes and scissors all day every day, might of been hard work but I never new anyone with type two diabetes until I was in my 40s now every other person seems to have it, so maybe a bit of hard work is what the modern world needs, bring on the stone
  10. I thought it was a thread about oxygen sensors on cars by someone not great at spelling, nice rack though made me hungry
  11. Have it right with the millions of them they made they had to get one or two that buck the trend and work , Toyota have it the other way round though ....Ps ...the driving position on a landrover is something else , the effortless way the seats slide , the lumber support , the back adjustments , springing , every thing is there for comfort .....providing your journey isn't over 800 yds .. funny stat 70 percent of land rovers ever made are still on the road doubt the japs could make such a claim, and if I want to go fast or far I just use my car it has lumber support and all the other comfort
  12. Well for all the Toyota girls, my landrover series three is 42 years old very rarely breaks down is made of alli so won't rust away cost me £600 when I bought it and the last person that knocked the door trying to buy it offered me 3k so I see it as a good usable investment, parts are penny,s and fixing it's child's play I know it don't have power steering and air con but that's for tarts anyway, proper blokes are strong enough to turn a steering wheel and open a window
  13. that's builders waste a traveller would have took the taps off,
  14. I think they have just past another law that they can take your truck, if your caught fly tipping and as that's what earns the money a pretty good deterrent I think, I only ever take waste if the people are willing to pay for a proper tip, but as its a £78 minimum charge for half a ton of mixed waste most people are,nt that interested, maybe if the council tips that we all pay for allowed people to use them the problem may clear itself up
  15. What a load of shit, so a bomb hitting or hitting nearby a gas container cannot release said gas? Pull your head out your arse. How come your so eager to lap certain propaganda up yet so cynical about other facts? You have no more idea what's happened than anyone else. its typical liberal left tactics that he uses all the time keep on repeating your lies often enough until people believe you then if that fails scream and shout and create more lies, just look how well they have taken brexit, and trump, if remain and Hillary had won they would all be very quiet right now stroking there lentils
  16. congrats mate nice shooting sweet catty, it feels so good because it takes you back to your childhood, when everything was an adventure and did,nt cost an arm and leg, a forked stick, two foot of elastic and a boot tongue you could go on safari for six weeks during the summer hols, it's the purist form of hunting
  17. Went to the furniture shop with my wife the other day and managed to take a couple of pages from the leather sample book should keep me in pouches for a while some real nice squares of leather in there for free,
  18. Same as above mate, if it had a split in the middle of the fork I would bin it but they are just caused through drying, if you have just cut it you can season the wood by giving it two minutes in the microwave, I normally cut my forks much longer than needed, then when they are seasoned you can trim an inch off the ends and bin the bit that's cracked and finally you can just sand it to the shape and finish you want then use epoxy instead of varnish to seal it all and force it in the cracks, good luck and don't forget a picture when your finished
  19. If you don't mind doing your own bands and pouch,s pro shot catapults has always done a really good service, but if you want one all banded up and ready to use I,ve had good service from a company called stone-spear catapults, seems a decent type cheers
  20. since January I have been on a bit of a camera trap mission in an area I,ve walked over, shot over and lamped over for the last 30 years the pictures though not the best quality are absolutely eye opening, I have seen four polecats I never new were there, witnessed a badger fight and seen more fox,s and deer than I would have ever thought existed, plus a few surprises, it's really addictive and does make you realise how much we don't know about, even people that spend a lot of time outdoors, I think with the market now being flooded with cheap but well usable remote cameras from China we are all

  24. a bit like lymes disease and lung worm you mean, I pull ticks from my dogs on an almost weekly basis due to the amount of deer that live were I walk my dogs, my sister who,s dog gets walked round the local playing field twice dailly is treated every 3months to keep ticks at bay and protect it from lymes even though it's Never seen a deer or had a tick, fear not only keeps us in check it also keeps us spending money on shite we don't need
