Squirrels are notorious for abandoning there young, I had one come up to me on a job I was on a few years back exactly the same climbed up my leg and went into my pocket, I was crawling with fleas by the time I got home and put it in a cage, stayed with us for a couple of years and was great with the family but once they become sexually mature they start attacking anyone else that comes into the house ?

Even when they get older mate, the fruits of your labour will still keep on rewarding you and though the girls are,nt as keen as when they were baby,s they are still much more switched onto the outdoors and things around them than most of there generation, the boy has taken over the torch and fills me with pride on a regular basis, I was told on a weekly basis that I was cruel or even a bad parent when he used to night fish with me right through the winter sleeping in a unhooking Matt in the Back of my bivvie as a baby but he seems to have grown up ok

Vinyl actually outsold other forms of music last year for the first time in donkey,s years, so no it's far from died out and is infact enjoying a big come back as people realise that newer does not mean better ?

Classic British gear denon seperate,s with warfdale speakers plus a plug in ion turntable I can play everything from vinyl to iPad s, on it, it's still very repairable and available in good stereo outlets and loud enough to get the neighbours complaining?

In truth mate I discard far more than I accept as proof, but this particular animal has all the hallmarks of a cat, so I will log it and looking at the video of the badger eating his roadkill mate it confirms to me even more that another badger never ate or killed this one but an animal far bigger and stronger than a badger was responsible

Here,s one I found in December, it had one tooth mark in the top of its head and one through its ear, no damage round it's mouth or face indicating a single bite through the top of its head without a fight, I have a video showing were its been dragged out of the hedge before being consumed in the open, sadly it won't load onto my iPad as its to big but here are some stills, the clues to it being a cat are the fact it's rumin bag is still in tact untouched, the way the skin is pulled down the legs and the ribs are cut cleanly along its spine, in America mountain lions also take badgers and if

Agree with you mate, but I have to be realistic, if I try to spread myself over the whole of the U.K. I could not give it enough attention so I try to stick to my own little patch, also if there is someone in the group closer that could give it more attention I would pass it on to them but as ginger beard is in the sw I,m assuming his family are relatively local, so I,d be happy to meet them hear what they have to say and if feasible get some cameras in

What leads you to that conclusion, I know you did,nt believe anything he said, but you never explained all the hard evidence he has, from pelts,photos,DNA,scats and pug marks, he is actually a very knowledgable countryman, that has probably seen many more things than most,I guess the easiest way to discredit someone is to call them a looney, but a lot of Jonathan's findings will be included in the scientific papers that are being drawn up at the moment so if your right he will be very quickly found out I guess, as will the rest of us ?

Would do mate but the trouble and strife is with me and my kids are coming over on various days throuout my week so may be a bit hard to slot in, it's not a million miles away though so could arrange a day out later in the year

I,m off to the brecons for a week soon walking holiday with the dogs but also to look at possibility of relocating, like you I yearn for the solitude and uninterrupted countryside but have a kids living in Bristol so can't be to far away from them, at least we can dream for now ✌

50p or a £1 today, working in Leigh woods it mounts up twice a day, I got caught a few years back as I was doing it everyday and on the day of my capture they watched me on the cameras then stood in the road at the other end to stop me and forced me to hand over the 50p ?
