  1. Plus with age comes a thing called deafness and though I,m not stone deaf in comparison to young people I do miss as many calls as I answer, I only have it for work and the fact I spend nights out of the house so it's nice to be able to be contacted by the misses if she,s worried about things, I leave my phone in my van a lot as well as I don't really want to talk about work on evenings and weekends
  2. Your guaranteeing the actions of every single person in the country, that's a very ignorant stance to take on any subject, even a king or president can't speak for 100 percent of there subject,s yet you can ?
  3. The most I,ve ever spent on a runner was £2.50 and that was to get it out the pound, it's a mongrel type of dog with no real value, all the value in my free to good home lurcher is added through years of me undoing the previous owners bad stockman ship and building it back up to fit in with me and what I do, it won't suit everyone else but for me he,s almost perfect, when I got him a useless livestock worrying liability totally uncontrollable I could now walk him down a busy street off the lead, he retrieves live and will take down whatever I point him at, I have paid a bit more for a nuttha
  4. I,m not knocking myself, it's my choice , FairPlay to your gran it is very useful for certain things, I bought both my nan and my misses nan phones when they got old put useful numbers in them and neither one ever used them, my point is some things in life can and do excist and function perfectly well without being in igang, it's not the thing that makes things true or untrue, I believe Kanny saw a Harris hawk on his way to a job recently, don't remember seeing an I picture of the bird and did,nt feel the need to call him a liar, I have lots of access to pics of big cats from all over the worl
  5. Mate I,m in my 50,s have a £9.99 pay as you go phone, carry a camera to take photos and have absolutely no interest in owning an I phone or simular, I,m pretty normal in my age group and know several older people who can only be contacted by knocking on there door, regardless of the price of the phones you can't force people that have managed most of there life without one to change there ways, we don't have to take a picture everytime we eat or shit to prove its happened, we are capable of making our own minds up without a picture of everything, maybe if you took the phone away from your face
  6. One or two things to remember here, a clouded leopard is quite a small cat and would fit in a fox trap, after seeing the mess made in Wales over the escaped Lynx would you want local council involved, ? And everytime the word big cat is mentioned it's not always a lie, I always find its better to do a little bit of investigation first before calling everyone a liar and it is looking a little bit like the owner did,nt want locals to know A he was keeping them near private homes and B one had escaped, so papers may have filled a few gaps but I think there is some element of truth involved, does,
  7. My misses has been so bad with it I have to carry her down stairs to make my breakfast in the morning
  8. Years ago I was out fishing an all nighter and the wife was at home with the baby,s, there was a vixen outside screaming so much my misses called the police thinking a girl was being attacked,
  9. Indeed I do, but it,s now noticeable
  10. I am an incurable skip rat, I love a good rummage my best skip I earned a grand from the contents and my best ever rubbish clearance I made 1600 from selling the rubbish I was payed to clear, my son is driving a Mazda car with 49000 miles on the clock that I was asked to scrap for someone when the 93 year old owner passed away , and I also sold a corsa for 500 last year that cost me £25 to put a new mot on after someone asked me to take it to the scrap yard, I love the throw away society we live in, I get a bit of abuse and a few tugs from plod but but I got pretty thick skin so alls good
  11. I no it's barely January but in the last week out walking I have seen, two pair of great tits doing the pairing business and looking in every little hole for nest sites, one pair of blackbirds, saw a few daf,s and crocus the Hazel trees are covered in catkins and the sitting water in the ditch,s and puddles that have been high all winter are dropping an inch or more per day indicating the trees and plants are taking a bit on board, which all points to a very early spring or some very confused wildlife also about 20 mins of extra day light per day which is nice anyone else noticing any signs o
  12. I,ll see if I can find any other pictures but it may take a while as there a way back and I,m not that techie to keep it neat and tidy also have to pop out for a while soon
  13. The tip of its tail is poking out just outside your circle if you zoom a little
  14. Thanks Dave for the highlight, what you also have to realise is that the camera has been there for three years, so has taken hundreds or thousands of pics of that same path there are photos of deer, dogs fox and badger all on the same spot and none of them even slightly resemble a 4ft long cat, the fallen tree etc would have been there longer than the couple of seconds that black animal was , not conclusive proof but enough to wet the appetite for a further look
  15. I do know him have never asked what his credentials are but he has been collecting data and following up sightings for over 30years he puts his name forward to the papers as it gives people who have seen something and want to talk about it a point of contact, he like many of us was a normal countryman interested in dogs ferrets and birds of prey when he saw something he could,nt explain but new what he,d seen so set out to find out more, I don't think anyone is really qualified in the subject as its really a load of enthusiastic amateurs that through the Internet have learnt of others interest
  16. I,m starting to become annoying are you really for real, no one asked you to join in ,you clearly have no interest ,have contributed nothing so the best way to not be annoyed would be to f**k off else were surely
  17. Here,s another one same camera same place what do you recon, also I have seen these pictures go through a lot of comparison tests a leopards tail is very distinct and yes I think that's one
  18. The couple that got those pictures live within walking distance of the camera mate, the problem in India is a high population of leopards and a rapidly growing population of humans, if they can they will sneak off and avoid conflict, i think we are many years away from that kind of situation but sightings in and around urban areas are getting more frequent as time goes on, don't no if that's an increase in animal numbers or the fact we are slowly concreting over the whole land and the few we have are being pushed closer to urbanisation ? All part of the great mystery I just have two terriers
  19. Its the second time it's been caught on the same camera in the same place over a couple of years, more of the body and head showing last time, but when you super impose a leopard onto it ,it,s a pretty good match,
  20. There seems to be a bit of an agenda to push the mustelid population at the moment, first otters turned out everywhere, polecats seem to be popping up in places not seen for years, I caught 10 on trail cams last year, and the pine martin seems next on the agenda, trouble is most of them depend on rabbits which are in decline in many area,s , another worrying thing I notice is your mate seems to be a little girl ?
  21. What's big gay Dave to say about this ,I ,m sure there's a simple explanation,
  22. When I was a kid and new no better, we would take one egg from finch,s nest,s and run to the local canary blokes house he,d give us a couple of Bob and hatch them under the canary,s, bully,s and goldies being the most sought after, they would then ring them as captive bred birds when they hatched
  23. I know just how you must have felt mate no one believes me either . ?
  24. The French hog hunt most weekends in the rural parts, it's a village tradition I think it's lovely how the village all turn out for the hunt and then share out the meat, dogs just bay them and they get popped with a solid ball in a shotgun, Germans hunt them a lot with big bull types but they wear quite a lot of armour and have gps tracking on as well, sooner they get right out of hand sooner they will have to let us get at them with everything including dogs might be just what we need a few of bgd,s mates eaten by pigs to bring the world back to its senses
