Same as that mate then I saw them for sale last week middle isle lidls and bought one when I first got a flat my only source of hot food was the breville toaster used to whack small trout in it across the two sections lol

I’ve shown this before but I tie my tubes by using a short length of tube pushed over a pair of long nose pliers then push your ends through and slide it off the pliers nice and neat easy to do -
Talking of your mum in law giving you the swerve on the canal boat, my old man drove past my front door almost daily for 5 years and never once stopped lol feck em mate there loss not ours

Had a bit of black on the ceiling around the chimney so took a small panel out and found the person that had installed the fire originally had to short a flu pipe so just stuck a load of gunk round it which had been leaking for years lucky no one got carbon monoxide poisoning anyways from a little decoration issue I’ve had to strip it all out and do it properly the flu goes through the collar as it should now

Little wander round the local canal festival yesterday bit hot but nice day out sat watching house martins going in and out with a cold cider was good listening to a bit of live music -
Cooking FA in this heat so took her to the Greek on the dock for a mixed grill and a cold cider for dinner

I think the metal makes a big difference and a run over the wet stone every few months smooths the blade out again the pull through just enhance any imperfections in the edge

I use one of these two or three pulls through and job done also got a nice kenn hom cleaver the other month doing a clearance job it’s a beut like a razor axe on roids lol
