Its clearly done in the factory, not in someone's shed. My wife is a senior cnc-programmer. She said its chopped off in the factory. Its not baffeled.

received my new .22 hw98 today. I was amazed tot find that the Bull barrel had a screw cut section. If certainly is not standard. Mayby Weihrauch made a prototype or a special request. And by accident they boxed the rifle and send it to the dealer as a normal hw98?? Does any of you have An Idea what rifle I got??

This is my wife's hw30s The stock was too short for her. So I had to make the stock a bit longer as you can see in thee picture. Works fine for her. Also gave it an adjustable stock "thing".. (dontbknow the word in english.) to adjust the stock to her standing frame I also made it a bull barrel and installed a set back trigger. Ill try to attache some pictures of the rifle. I belive it has a vmach kit in it But I bought a vortek kit for her. I havent installed it yet.The vortek kit should help with the 50 meters. I will try to get a picture from the kit As you can se

Its been quite a while since my last post. I just had nothing to say..... I'll start with a question: Important for my question: ive been shooting all my life, springer, rim and center. Amongst others, I have 2 hw97 rifles: A vortek 177 with Sheffield 1000 stock, 12 fpe And a vortek .22 full power with wooden sporter stock Recently I bought a 177 walther lgv master pro sub 12 joules. I had put match rifle sights on this rifle as soon as I got it. And I changed the original trigger for a "match" one. With the match rifle sights, it shoots perfectly: at 1

Ohh Im sorry for you lot Missed that one

Youre new here I guess, I shoot every day I hunt and I shoot matches

Instant..... As quick as possible. When shooring rooks and the smaler spiecies with the gray/black head (dont know the english name), head shot are true instant death. There is no kicking or any life in them. Stops them right in their tracks. Rez: what do you mean with: "No point asking us lot now" -did I mis something or whats up?

Guys i need some advise. I was asked by a farmer to decimide some woodpigeons. Im a headshot guy, works fine for rabits. But the pigeons constantly move their head. Now Im thinking I need to shoot them in the heart/lung. Can you guys post a picture where to shoot them exactly? I will not shoot them and risk that they suffer and have pain. I want instant death. (Accuracy is no problem. Shot will be made with my hw97 cs1000 match rifle, position is kneeled)

The bsa wont shoot as nice as half sorted hw35. Ive been servicing and altering rifles for years. A 35 is practically bombproof. The hw's with the treaded end are more bombproof than the ones with the 4 plugs. Never had a 335 apart, so cant comment on that one. But being an anschutz.... Cant be bad

Ehhhh.... Just read about your 'situation'. In yourcase it might be better to let this one go mate. A shooter always needs a rifle in house, but if I were you Id wait untill a nice used weihrauch comes along.

Cant imagine its almost 10 footpounds. i really cant. But if it is....then it is. If its in nice state...buy it and never look back. 22 is no problem when its really 10 lbs. My new hw35e is in 22 and ive put the power level at 4.5 pounds. So compared to my 35, "your" anschutz is magnum power
-
If my memory is correct, its not an official 10 match rifle, but a "sporter" It is low on power, so 177 would be the better option. Its a breakbarrel and it might have a barrel lock too. Would be a perfect plinker and 10m practic rifle

Its an anschutz!! So doesnt get much better than that. Its category feinwerkbau, steyr, walther and so on. If you find one.... Grab it and never sell it again. If you find one that need an overahaul and you find no one in the uk, in Holland there is a company Metura. Owner Teun can overhaul that rifle for sure,.and for a nice price. Just saying...

Good "luck" with the new permission and Let the pros handle things! Btw I always assumed every UK farmer had a shotgun and a rimfire, but since Im on here I know better -
Make that 4 of us!
-
Damnnnnn looks just stunning!!! How does it shoot???
-
I like everything The stock and the long barrel!!!! Dont ever sell it (If you do.....sell it to me??)
-
You better do?? It was as expencive as the rifle itself. I didnt buy the unit in 1 time. When I had money I bought parts. It ended up having eye sight correction from -2.5 to +2.5 So no glasses needed. It also has adjustable iris opening from -3 to +3 And it has a build in magnification of 1.5x. thats not much but it helps with target shooting. Im not rich....so for me the rifle with sighs was a big set back in my wallet
-
My wallet dint allow it at ALL.... But I did it anyway. It will never be scoped. It will be used as a target rifle for 50meters offhand and 50 meters kneeling. Bought it in 177. Its been put together out of 2 rifles: The action and barrel are from the syntectic version. The stock is from an other rifle that had a wooden stock. Stock and action are new, so I guess rest of the month we will eat water and bread only!!!

In about a week I will receive a walther lg55 I had one before....hand made parts....barrel locks like a mercedes door. Ill try and put a picture here the one I had...its trigger crashed into spaghetti. It happened 5 years ago....I never got over kt. I even tryed to mimick the rifle by cutting the 35e spring so it cocks like a vintage match riflrle. The 35 shoots the .22 at 115 meters per second. Thats very slow.
