I remember it well, I also remember the kick off at another one when MR was judging. -
You are right Brandon his dogs haven't changed much in size over the years, I was at his kennels in the late 80's his dogs were all similar type around 12" - 14" at the most. Most people see his strong headed dogs in pics and think they are bigger than what they really are.

No offence but you must have the goose that's lays the golden egg, it's not better men than me or you that determines a good dog it's the game in front of the dog, maybe your a one off. ?

A good digging bedlington a good digging border a good digging Lakeland/Russell in my eyes are one offs, these dogs aren't made for constant hard graft.

Did you make your mind up Steve, it's hard to find a dog that has produced to 3-4 or more different bitches, I like to see how many good solid working bitches are produced out of litters which I think is a good indicator. But still it's no guarantee they'll all work to a high standard. ?
