I had to many runners using 40grn vmax in my 204 and switched to 32grn sierras and they stopped running… nearly smashed rifle over a fence post one night cos I was fuming?

Cheers nige To say them bergara’s are one of the cheapest rifles you can buy ive got more faith in it when I pull the trigger than any other gun I’ve owned! was out last night with the .204 and missed a fox, it was a fair old distance and fairly windy like.. think it’s time the 6.5 had an outing dressed with the thermal?

I used that stuff on a mid terrace that was riddled with damp years ago, just dot n dabbed it too! when the lad I did it for flogged his house the surveyor thought his damp meter was fcuked cos it didn't register anything ?

The woman at the top of that list is from Scarborough… if she set up camp in the middle of one of our roads either some fcuker would run her over or the chavs would terrorise the silly old cnut into submission. and I couldn’t see the police round here taking her side either cos the town would end up getting smashed up.

I was mortified Dave, at the time it was the most expensive scope I’d bought:( I know stav knows his stuff but this scope was crap.. the turrets were sloppy as f too… it’s still sat on the shelf in the shop nearly two years down the line?

this was the last outing for a vortex viper... its sat on a 6.5x55 in this photo, where the field breaks crops to wheat theres a muck dump! it was 200yard to the baited area and I could clearly see the fox through a sh1t pair of lidl binoculars but the scope wouldn't pick it out.. this happened on 3 occasions and I was fcuking fuming! ive got a mate with the same scope and hes never had this problem so weather it was duff coatings or something but when ever there was a sunset like this I couldn't see sod all through it so I got rid:( during the day it was great and it could be u

There are some forces that stand out when you read about variations and the like taking forever. I can’t fault North Yorkshire if you need any advice or anything there more than willing to help you out and turnarounds are well swift ?

They’ve been on the go with it for a while round my way, I see why a lot of farmers are on it… one of mine got shot at a few months back and had to jump out/ hide behind his tractor while he phoned the armed police up and there always getting stuff nicked? A few of the farms I go on have lads with permission to run dogs on so they police it themselves when it comes to fcukers smashing gates down. think our wildlife officer is scared of the dark cos I’ve never seen him at night… different matter during the day though?

A twin-engine passenger plane has an engine failure and the altitude is decreasing rapidly. The pilot speaks over the intercom, "I'm sorry it has come to this ladies and gentlemen, but unfortunately we are going to have to jettison the luggage in order for the aircraft to remain airborne." Baggage is thrown out but still the plane's altitude continues to decrease. Once again the pilot gets on the intercom, "I hate to do this but in order to save the majority we are going to have to start off-loading some passengers. The only fair way is to do this alphabetically, so we'll start with the lett

druggy bag Dave…. Fill with something warm, fold it tight and fix it to a board with a drawing pin, mint for zeroing the thermal and you can see your group with the heat signature on the wooden board! dont pi55 on your hands?
-
Take a wild stab in the dark? easier than filling a flask?
-
Don’t fanny about too much with load development, I check a few loads on the manufacture sites and basically go in at the top end… shoot two rounds into the deck not looking through scope, check for pressure! stick a 2” druggy bag on target full of something warm ? shoot 3 shots at it and if all’s well job done, no poi shift between using bipod for testing and shooting off quad stix
