only ever used mine on my .204 but ive got mates who use them on 223/243 and they never have any problems.. think there rated to .308

ive been using the 008 with rangefinder built in since they came out.. some people dont like them, personally I think there ace! bung it on the fac air for rats and rabbits and swap it over to the cf for foxs, battery life is fine as theres stand buy mode.. ill usually get 3 hours out of one they use 18650 batteries that cost about £5 so its cheap enough to have a few.. you can pick a second hand one up for about £400 if you search about.. theres a new one coming out soon, the non lrf is out now but id want the other! the suppled bracket has been fine on mine and a mates had 3 a

been putting in double damp corse up this way for about 15year for level access areas, works ok unless its a full fill cavity! had loads of folk on phone over last couple of months with having such a wet winter that walls are damp where that blown in shite is wringing wet and damp patches in the house! Indian stone looks well when first layed but shite after a couple of years, porcelain is all the rage up here now

I know your a smart man when it comes to foxing sd… but is there anywhere you can bait it near a building with say a trip light or passing traffic?! I had one that could pick ir up at 200yard, had to set up in a bush on the bend of a Rd.. I had rifle on the sticks with my hand over the ir and as soon as a car lit the field up i took the shot… I’ve had them in open fields on full moon nights too any light pollution will work in your favour

It went into a cellar and that had a trap into the tunnel. property down the bottom of that village was at London prices 20 year ago.. when the sea was rough it use to flood, strange watching waves go past the front steps?

I use to work in bay hotel at bottom when I was at school and go out on the cobbles doing the nets and pots! Was a great place for a young lad:)

I live in Scarborough... not a bad area once you get out the main town, north bays the nicest area quite a lot of things to do and its looking like a nice day

its a rare place.. did you see the section of weapons confiscated from the Leeds fans not sure how long your up at Whitby for but its my neck of the woods.. robin hoods bay is only ten mins away and its a lovely little old fishing village with a mint beach! if you've got kids with you you can go jet hunting at low tide, look behind the big rocks in the cracks and if you walk to the right of the slipway you'll get to an area where the seals breed.. you can walk right up to them

the armoire is a good day out, go online and see what outdoor shows are going on.. they normally put stuff on when the kids are on Holliday! and this place will fill the rest of the day, its not far away.. theres trains all the time or 20 min drive, my mate lives in cass and says its great. I was watching 3 last week.. I’d seen 1 in with the sheep and they weren’t bothered and there’s no lambing going on there so it got a free pass! I take it it was dog and vixen and one of last years hanging in as a helper, as all chilling at the edge of a neighbouring wood that I can’t shoot

Got told today that vit is used in nato rounds and there’s quite a lot of them getting knocked up at moment! not sure how right that is though?

To right nige… was out this morning with a keeper mate. people think we’re all about doing stuff for the hell of it ,couldn’t be further from the truth… this blokes all for the ground nesters and not the game birds..had a mint time mooching about in the sun:)

Been looking over the land that surrounds it next to the crem,was tucked away in a nice dark corner one night then a car came screaming through and hits a tree right near me!! wtf… nearly ?went for a butchers on way to work next day. last place you think you’ll get mowed over in middle of the night

Never new there was a factory in Newcastle! theres one in York, the company did a lot of good things for old folk all round North Yorkshire, mainly York but we built a massive old folks home in Scarborough.. was really nice but the view is onto the crematorium ?
