    airdales over in the states are used slot as coyote decoy dogs I never saw one that would actually get hold of its quarry like you'd expect a terrier to do, every pic or vid I saw they were barking at foxes, coyotes and raccoons and these are the supposed 'working' line airdales redline think they called, i read up on them from various people and none were actual game dogs , probably only good thing to add to runners is their coat and nose which is rather pointless if they cowards, would love to see a airdale doing proper work over here tho

    Just bought a carpet mill from Europe This one was 600 I've not seen slat or carpet mills much cheaper tho mate

    Don't start it at 8 months mate too young not developed mentally or physically and believe me I've made the mistake enough and f****d up some good prospects

    Maybe mate but I don't think so most lurchers of all breeds and xs will be jackers if pushed if someone wanted a lurcher for rabbits in the main and odd bit of other stuff most dogs that are half greyhound will do that job

    Depends what you would use such a dog for they might be decent on edible quarry but I don't think a dog bred to bark at cows and sheep would be taking much stick but I've only seen one on a farm I have permission on all the farmer uses it for is letting him know when someone's about the yard it's his misses pet failed cow dog

    Couldn't think of a worst base for a running dog they move stock by barking at them rarely do they get hold like a good cattle collie, they may be of some use if you want a lurcher that will pull a fox or deer then stand barking at it

    Had a 40ft terrier by deben and it was good until end of this season the depth was f****d everything doubled it would say a 3ft dig was a 6ft so chucked it in river once terrier was out

    Dogs nose is average mate but he will range out a little bit trying to put stuff up but his nose isnt anything exceptional but good enough he marks anything to ground

    Full on mate very confident dog had a feral on the farm already by accident didn't bat an eyelid, what's yours like
