    I think most dogs that yap do so because they are physically not fast enough to catch and get frustrated or been entered to young, if you picked a racey pup and didn't run it too early have half a chance of it not yapping

    Mine aren't noisy in kennels but they do scream if you make them watch another dog doing abit, theres different lines for ontop work and digging lines can't speak for my brown n tan dog yet but the black dog I own would be completely useless for boar if he gets off the lead there's good chance you won't get him back, he's not much good for anything other than digging

    If it was to happen only thing I'd worry about is pups yapping even tho the jagd is hard and mute to ground he will still yap when chasing above ground something I wouldn't like in a lurcher

    From 3 months mate i got her too wprk and if she good enough breed from she's been out ferreting since 8 months and knows the score now, she'll mark anything to ground. Not started on the lamp yet but soon as the crops cut

    Funny you should say that I've a hard jagd here 15tts get hold of anything and a young coursing bred greyhound bitch who's started very well but it won't happen as that's not part of the plan

    Cheers mate thwy are full on thats for sure, im Out hunting cover/mooching for 2-3 hours 7 days a week out of season when the seasons here I'm out lamping more or less every night and the days I'm not lamping I'm out with them and terriers

    Ace is my pride and joy but out the young dogs she's my pick too hard little bitch so far not a sound on downside can be a f****r around other dogs

    Black dog is ace first x bull whippet black and white dog is his son ringo out of a 1/4 bull grey tan bitch is unrelated reverse 5/8 bull grey, both ringo and yella are just past 12 months and have seen a couple early on both liked em, ace is 21 yella 22 and ringo 23
