I know a pack of beagles that hunt fox and they are brilliant to find, flawless to keep a line and better to mark than anything. They regularly knock foxes above ground.

Heard Friday and Saturday were very good days. Two well respected clubs with good hunting men in them. Didn't hear about the macrooms they're usually very good.

I meant people who breed working line Lakeland & when I say he'll find out the rest I mean he'll be able to find out what they're stuff is like because there's a savage shot of lads with Lakelands that love the summer shows, rosettes and money but they're not breeding for work. I dont expect a big list because there is only a handful of genuine lads with them. I know lads that have them and they'd be blessed if they're terriers got a dig a year.

Any word on how the fedamore hunting festival is going ?

Should be 4 good days in abbeyfeale, some of the usual well established good hunting packs. Fedamore festival looks great this year all good packs that are supposed to be on the ball this season

There was a chap on here last year called Madrarua who had a lot of information about the meets in one festival. I wonder is he still around or is he gone ????

Possibly, havnt missed it yet. I wouldn't be much for the beer (getting a bit old & grumpy I suppose) no harm in a few beers but its the hunting I go for, my driver would be gone without me !! Doesn't best please when I hear on the drink men talking up hounds that are shite but then again it takes all kinds
