hi , it depends on what ducks your trying to draw in if its mallard they will eat weat, barley, tates, peas, beans , but if you want teal then i would use barley or if you can get old of any grass seed then teal will love it , because it just floats on the water also find the shallow part of ther pond then feed it that end and put it in the water and some just out of it but not to deep just enough for the ducks to dabble in and also if you are going to use tates try to get some rotton ones or chop them up so the ducks can nibble at them because they will not be able to brake them down till th

i had that problem then i went on photo bucket and did it that way they cut it all down for you and its free down load your photos to photo bucket then copy the ime number then paste it on your post and it will come up . sounds hard but when you done it a couple of times its easy . regards wag

this is how i got my harris lamping and i was shown by to guys who lamp there harris hawks. what you want to do is feed the bird on the fist first in the garden with the lamp shining on the fist then get the bird coming short distances in the garden with the lamp shining only on the glove . then when your confident take the bird out in the field and find a a rabbit that is clamped down and let her see it then she should hopefully put a flight in on it . do that a few times and she will soon get the gist of things she some times might bait of at shadows till she gets used too it,and when you

hi dwain , that yellow dog is a nice colour ,you got anymore of his sort ? no john i bought him in in the summer but, my black dog in the picture throws dark yellows and my mates want me to do the same mating as last time because the pups all turned out good workers and if i do i have already got homes for 7 pups so if i decide to shall i put you down for a pup john regards wag

hi, trapper just check inside the barrels and make sure they are clean and not got any bad bits or rust like things in them that could be pitting mate. p m me because im in lincolnshire mate and if your close i can have a look for you if you want . regards wag

hi, trapper what chokes are in the gun ? you dont want to be shooting steel shot through no more than half choke .put some photos up of the gun if you want, but as long as the barrels are not pitted there should not be problem as long as its no more than half choke. regards wag

i know a well known lurcher man in my area who was out foxing one day and dug to cubs and the terrier killed all but one cub. so he took it home and bought it up and it was kept with his lurchers and terriers. but as for a fox hunting with dogs well it takes some believing . regards wag

thanks for that sounder ,the two black dogs are father and son, the one at the front is dad ,and the one at the back is the son .the gold one i bought this summer for picking up on our shoots but i am going to use him for everything . regards wag

yes john there was a frost last night my gold lab in the picture it was his first time out shooting this morning and the water had a bit of ice on it but he was straight in the water no probs at all . regards wag

hi, all went out this morning with a mate on one of my ponds that i shoot, i know there has been alot of teal on the pond . anyway when we got there this morning there was already alot of teal on the pond so they must have came in under the moon last night. we put them off and got set up ready, after about 20 min they started to come back we had a few shots and got a few teal but there was hardly anything come back. but we had a good bit of sport and the dogs had some good retreaves . regards wag
